We stayed at Maliosa for 3 nights in September 2013 and had a fantastic time. Felix was a wonderful and welcoming host in addition to an excellent chef and even put on a dinner in the hotel one night. There are spectacular views from the hotel, it is an easy walk into Positano and a small secluded local Arienzo beach... More

Wow. I didn't realize that everything in Positano was built clinging to the side of a mountain, including this Bed and Breakfast. There were lots of steep steps. There is some parking available, but we didn't have a car, so we had to rely on walking had to find drivers for longer distances. The room was spacious, the water was... More

We stayed 5 nights and we enjoyed very much. The view of hotel is very nice. Location is very close to center of Positano. You can go easily by walk. There is parking in front of hotel. Everytime we found place for parking but Im sure it wouldnt be that easy during high season. Room was clean. Breakfast was good.... More

I see many reviewers have already commented on the distance the B&B is from central Positano. We found this to be a real advantage. The walk was pleasant along the snaky, cliff-side road, and, not being Italian, we had our most authentic Amalfi experience in a tiny grocery store along the route. Apart from ourselves, only locals kept popping in,... More

Honestly... I will choose another place for my next stay in Positano - The view from the place is great, true... but it's still outside the main town. It's much more logistically convenient to have a place in Positano - Staff wasn't helpful. We tried to organize a trip in the area, asked many times (in fluent Italian) to the... More

This would have to be on of the best B&B's I have ever stayed in. I have travelled to many beautiful parts of the world and this is SPECIAL. I am fortunate enough to speak Italian as I am an Australian with Italian parents, so, in many places I stay when I'm in Italy treat me with a little more... More

Now the first thing I will say is that it is a bit of a hike from town - it's roughly 2kms along the very winding road which also happens to the main road between towns, with no footpath (when a bus comes along squeeze in between any parked car you can) saying this though it is not a 'terrible'... La Maliosa is like a little Oasis of relaxation. When you walk down the stairs into the wonderful garden you don't feel as if you are entering a B&B, it feels almost like coming home. I stayed in La Maliosa for two weeks, had a spacious room, good state, bathroom as well. All was very clean and there was airconditioning.... More

Recently stayed in positano at La Maliosa. It's a 10min walk to the main area of positano, it would be shorter if the roads weren't so bendy. There's a bus stop not even 50m away from hotel as well. This place was clean and tidy, also nicely private in a sense. Felix the owner, (felice or felicio in Italian) is... More
