Being a High school Mathematics teacher I tend to be a little critical. This trip taught me to let go and Felix at La Maliosa D' Arienzo assisted with this. Greeting me with a cold beer and warm smile Felix (the owner and cook) showed me good wine, good hospitality (invited me down to his private home to dine with... More

This B&B is located in one of the best areas of the Amalfi Coast. It has a breathtaking view overlooking the sea from an amazing garden. It's small, never crowded and the beach in this area is just amazing. The rooms: spacious, amazing view, furniture is basic but clean and comfortable. The bathroom in our room definitely needed renovation though,... More

As a female solo traveller, I stayed for four nights and felt completely at home. I didn't realise it wasn't in Positano, but the place was a pleasant surprise. I didn't feel like going out or anywhere else as there is a large landscape garden so you don't feel cooped up like a hotel. The description on his website is... More

As much as the physical property is excellent I might pick another property on my next visit for some of the same reasons stated as others with negative reviews. The owner was a bit of a loose cannon. He was unprofessional in demeanor and left us (young female travelers) feeling uncomfortable in his presence. It didn't ruin the trip or... More

We stayed at La Maliosa for four nights in late September. The good: 1. The gardens and the views are great. You cannot actually see the town of Positano from the main terraces. But yes, there is an excellent view of the Mediterranean and the grounds are well kept. 2. The rooms are decent, especially if you can get the... More

Upon learning there would be a firework display celebrating Festa dell'assunta in Positano, we booked an additional nite on the Amalfi Coast at La Maliosa d'Arienzo. The location proved perfect for the day. Felix, the bit eccentric manager, was very helpful obtaining a reservation at Da Adolfo. He arranged a boat pick up (300 steps down) on Arienzo Beach (another... More

La Maliosa d'Arienzo is nestled right near your own little beach just a few stairs away. It is a beautiful quaint b&b with amazing views but the thing that really made this place shine was the man that ran it. We were cooked the best meal in the whole of our Italian trip right where we were staying overlooking the... More

The location looks a bit out of town on a map but in reality it was a 10 or 15 minute walk to get to Positano. We had a rental car and never had trouble finding a parking spot right in front of the hotel. The owner is fantastic and goes out of his way to be accommodating. He is... More

We stayed for four days in la maliosa during our honeymoon. We've been here once before for one day when we were staying in Napoli and someone tipped us to go see Positano. Back then we had little time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and decided this year to go back to the Amalf coast for our Honeymoon. There are... More
