Great little hotel. Breakfast was included which was more than ample. The best feature was the lift to the beach, otherwise you have to walk the 300 steps! Lovely view and you get a 10% discount at Puppeto's restaurant. Room was clean, bathroom had bidet and usual features. Be prepared to pay to use banana lounge as you can't put... more

I read quite a few reviews of hotels in Positano and decided on balance to go for this one. I was very pleased with the choice. We got the superior room which at €170 is not cheap but we had a fantastic large balcony with a sea view. The room itself was airy and bright with a big bathroom. Slight... more

On first arriving to hotel Vittoria I have to admit we were dubious, the rooms were of a very basic standard in relation to the cost of a superior suite. I would seriously query the 'superior' category and the fact that this is a 'hotel'! There are no facilities apart from a breakfast area, so don't expect a bar or... more

We stayed five nights and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and modern with a large balcony overlooking the sea. A nice breakfast with fabulous views from the dining area. There is an elevator to the beach which is important. We counted 365 steps to the beach. There are 75 steps from the road to the hotel . Positano... more

We just spent four nights at the Hotel Vittoria. I almost hesitated to write a review on the place for fear of it becoming too popular. This was the first time I had stayed at Vittoria but I stayed at its sister hotel, Pupetto (run by the same family), last year. Both are wonderful. The highlights for me: - I... more

This was my dream hotel--comfort with a view. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. the bathroom was large with a great shower. The terrace was perfect for sitting and enjoying the sun or, at night, the moon. There is a view of the sea and the hillside from the rooms (not a direct view of the sea, it is... more

As most reviewers have mentioned, the Vittoria is in a great location, above Fornillo beach and away from the crowds of the main part of Positano. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, not fancy, and is priced accordingly We had room #57 which seems to have the best view, being at the end of the building closest to the... more

We loved this hotel so much, it's hard to know where to begin. 1) It's above Fornillo beach, not the main beach of Positano, but from the port, there is a beautiful ramped walkway, hugging the side of the mountain, to Fornillo beach - this is incredibly atmospheric. 2) There are TWO elevators, that take you from the beach level,... more

My wife and I just returned from a one week stay at the Hotel Vittoria. It was fantastic. The hotel staff, especially Cristina and Anthony, make you feel welcome and at home. They are both very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel is not hard to find at all, there is only one road that goes thru Positano so I... more
