"Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone." John Steinbeck, the notorious American author of twenty-seven books, truly reveals an important aspect about this prominent Amalfi Coast town. Positano not only 'bites deep' due to its illustriously beautiful scenery, but more importantly because of... More

Perfect location for a week in beautiful Positano. The hotel itself was a small boutique style in a central location just a short walk down to the beach, shops and restaurants, staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The room was typically Italian, clean and of a good size. We had a room on the first floor overlooking the... More

Positano is itself a magical place, but this hotel makes it even better! The view for the rooms with a terrace is simply unbelievable, the location is comfortable, the staff is friendly, prepared and most of all: speaks good English! Lovely place!

When we arrived to check-in we were advised our room was not ready and to come back in an hour, we did that only to arrive back in an hour to be told it still wasn't ready and to come back in another hour! I agree with other reviews, service wasn't great and staff were a little rude, however the... More

We booked 5 nights in a deluxe room with a seaview terrace 5 months in advance. On arrival we were greeted with a long winded story by Michaelangelo (the owner) about the room being unavailable until the next morning due to a plumbing problem which was creating a bad smell. We were told that an alternative hotel of higher standard... More

We booked a room with a balcony 4 months before our trip. Three weeks before our trip we received an e mail that we would get no balcony for the same price. We had to keep it since there was nothing else available. We had a room with no windows it a skylight. It was clean but you go to... More

We loved the location of this hotel. It was so easy to walk everywhere including to the beach, shopping and for dinner. The service was friendly and helpful although I did get the feeling I asked too many questions. A relaxing place to stay.

Good hotel with a great location. The wifi can get slow at times, but it is included in the price. The showers were small. Unfortunately a couple of mosquitoes came in our room. The didn't have any spray to kill them, which was a little annoying.

We had Royal Prisco arrange our Naples airport pick up, a lovely driver full of information & history. We stayed in a 2 bedroom royal suite with a decent balcony which comfortably sat 4 (2adults & 2 teenagers). The view was breathtaking and we enjoyed some of our evenings eating delicious food from the Latteria deli just up the road.... More

Location is important in Positano, Royal Prisco is located not too far down that you have to struggle with bags from the bus if you have a car or are transported by taxi, and easy enough to wander down to the seafront through the cobbled streets of shops and restaurants. Our room was huge! There were two bedrooms and a... More
