I can't say enough good things about this place - the front desk was fabulous and helped us plan our daily itinerary; the location was great - easy to find and not far from the bus stop; the room was unique and thoughtfully decorated as well was being very comfortable and clean; but the best part was the breakfast which... Can't say enough about this hotel. Room was a good size with a balcony and spectacular views. In the center of things and yet not affected by the noise that accompanies hotels closer to the marina. A short walk down the hill to shops and the marina and a short walk up the hill to some great restaurants and hotels... More

Five night stay. Midway up up the hill (cliff maybe), close to main shopping and attractions (waterfront). Can go down or up the street for restaurants and stores, for equally good selection. Hotel room was comfortable and clean with great view of town and sea from very large balcony. Good breakfast buffet with choice of coffee's. Friendly staff. Able to... More

the patio was wonderful, we could sit there a gaze at the ocean, it was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of seating areas. The only thing I can say is the second shift receptionist was extremely unfriendly and possibly down right rude. Otherwise our stay was fabulous and in a perfect location

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is perfectly located, near to shops and a short walk down to the beach. The internal Positano bus stop is just a short walk away, as for the SITA bus to travel along the Amalfi coast. The room was large (we had booked a deluxe double) and had a... More

Front desk people were a bit unfriendly and seemed disinterested. Rooms are nice with balcony and table and chairs. location is also good. breakfast is not great, but they do fruit, brioches, etc. and have coffee, cappuccinos, juice. would stay here again, but the front desk needs to improve customer service for sure. oh, and my parents room- the shower... This is a long review, but I hope you find it helpful. I would give 2.5 if I could. In March 2014 I made reservations for my sister and I at Royal Prisco, after carefully researching hotels in Positano. I'm puzzled by the TripAdvisor reviews of Royal Prisco because my experience is so different from the others. The description of... More

We loved our room - with a large patio! The views of the city were just amazing. The hotel is up a hill that overlooks the city. As evening arrives, we could hear incredible Italian music which echoes from the city below. It is a must to have the patio view of the city. The breakfasts were incredible - make... More

The hotel is nice and beautiful! The most important is that they offers great and friendly service! Even I lost my iphone at Positano, they are very nice to contact me and help send it back to me in good condition. Their kind gesture makes me feel sweet and warm. I would love to visit the hotel again :-)

We stayed at Royal Prisco Hotel for 7 days. We used this as our base to explore the Amalfi Coast. The hotel is in a great location just minutes down the hill to the beach and ferry and just minutes up the hill to several outstanding restaurants. Our room #6 was large inside and out. The best part was the... More
