We recently visited the amalfi coast staying in both ravelo and positano Whilst the hotel in ravelo was excellent in every aspect the reverse was unfortunately the case here Not only is the whole hotel tired and in need of an overhaul the staff are too It may have been a 4 star once but that must have been a... I stayed at Posa Posa for four days in June, and was quite pleased. It is situated in the middle, which is very convenient to take the bus to Sorrento or to the beach. The staff was very helpful, and polite, the room was lovely and I had a marvelous view of Positano from my balcony. They served an excellent breakfast again with... More

Posa Posa is a fine little hotel. As with most hotels in Positano, it has a stunning view. This view is available while you dine, swim, or just on your balcony. The staff is warm and friendly. Daniella, at the front desk was just great. Always smiling, happy and willing to do anything to make your stay the best it... More

A lot of reviews we had read said that Guiseppe and Lucciana were hospitable and terrific hosts. Whilst they were hospitable, we just felt that they spoke a lot about themselves in quite a superficial way, which was a little off-putting. Other staff were welcoming, helpful and very honest about the best ways to do things (ie laundry, getting around,... More

Our family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights in July. The hotel is fine, but really nothing special - lovely views, nice staff, quite clean and quiet. However, it is an absolute mystery to me how they can begin to justify the price tag or the 4 star rating - we felt like we had paid for 5 stars... More

Stayed at this hotel with my family, and on arrival was greeted by warm friendly staff. Room was lovely and clean and our balcony was overlooking the sea. Pool area was relaxing and quiet, just what me and the family wanted. The view from the terrace when dining at the restaurant was absolutely spectacular. Myself and my family enjoyed a... More

This is the worst hotel I have stayed in for ages. There is a skeletal staff who are nice. There is no room service. The restaurant and bar are always empty. The "deluxe" rooms are damp and stark. The TV had 2 English channels. Bathrooms are horrible. The interior decor is from the 1970's. The "pool" is a large bath... More

About this review we can say that maybe there was not a good feeling with those people or maybe they have been in another hotel because all they said is not true. Our room service is available from 07 am to 11pm. The restaurant we have is one of the best in Positano. The de-luxe room are wonderful as other... More

High up on the hill, but the bus up and walk down to the shops and beach is not a problem. Not sure if hotel rooms are fairly rated as a four star. We paid extra for the corner suite for the balcony views, which are absolutely stunning, but balcony needed something??...plant pots. Flowers, perhaps?? The room and bathroom are... More

I recently stayed at this ideally located hotel in Positano, Italy. The view was terrific but this the only good thing I could say about my stay there. Considering the price of the rooms you should have expected the service to be flawless. But it wasn't. No one to help with luggage, had to wait 15 minutes for someone to... More
