This hotel is absolutely lovely. Not the highest price of the Positano options, but certainly the best choice for those seeking a quiet stay, beautiful sea view, clean and very Italian rooms, and excellent and friendly service. We stayed in the Maestral room; very nice. We actually had our small wedding ceremony on the terrace overlooking the ocean; the staff... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in May 2015 and would pick this place without hesitation if returning to Positano. Pros: - extremely nice and helpful staff ( family run hotel) - very clean with amazing views of the ocean, both from our room, or the common area patio. - I found this b&b very central : midway between the tourist... Stayed here for two nights over the weekend in the Levante room. I can't say enough good things about this B&B. It is a little out of the way but I think that is an asset in terms of the location because it is very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Positano. That being said, there are... More

Rosa Dei Venti ("RDV") is a wonderful place to stay. It is located on the Fornillo side of Positano which is the less busy and touristy side of the town. I thought this was nice because it was more quiet and peaceful but you can still walk to the main part in 10 minutes and you also still have an... More

A fabulous family run hotel. Staff extremely helpful and very friendly. Situated in a great location in the wonderful positano resort. Rooms were very clean , lovely bed linen which was changed three times in one week, lovely shabby chic decor, really good value for such a reasonable price. Also lovely having breakfast on balcony every morning. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon - wish we'd stayed for more! Very friendly welcome, and the room was beautiful. We had a large balcony with a picturesque view of the sea. The breakfast is served in-room, so it is perfect to have it on the balcony. Directly outside the hotel doors, you can join the winding steps... More

I don't often get the feeling that I would like to return to a hotel, but I have this feeling with Rosa dei Venti. Positano is beautiful, the hotel is located about 10-15 minutes from the center, the walk is beautiful and picturesque. Our room was lovely, clean, spacious, with a very comfortable temperature and no need to use the... More

We stayed for three nights in "Scirocco". We had a great stay, the room was very clean, the bathroom had a new feeling and the star of the room was the great sea-view deck, which had a table and two chairs as well as a lounge chair. The balcony was completely private and no one could see into our room.... More

What a lovely, lovely place to stay in Positano. I stayed there with my husband for 5 nights and have nothing to say but great things. Large, cosy bedroom with a huge bathroom, great view, perfect breakfast served in the room. They even have skysports so we were able to watch the world cup games : ) Walk down the... More

We have just returned from a wonderful 7 days in Positano & were lucky enough to spend them all at the La Rosa Dei Venti. Now if you don't like steps & walking then really don't go to Positano - I can't believe that some reviewers on web-sites complain about the steps for a town that is literally built on... More
