A lovely hotel overlooking a picture postcard scenery. The staff were very good, hotel was lovely and clean. The only downside was the amount of steps to the 3rd or 4th floor.

Hi, I cannot recommend the Villa Tartana enough. I was married in Positano this May and arranged for guests to stay at this lovely haven. We took 6 rooms, all of them were fantastic. The price is very reasonable and the staff are delightful. Everyone particulary liked the breakfast delivered to their room, to eat on a little balcony overlooking... More

We stayed here for three nights in June. It was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served on our balcony over looking the ocean. We had one of the smaller rooms on the top floor which was nicely decorated and very clean. After spending two weeks touring the Amalfi coast on a budget I can say... More

We stayed at Villa La Tartana for part of our honeymoon, and it was fantastic. The room was exceptionally bright, clean and apparently fairly newly-renovated. Beautiful painted tiles on the floor, quality towels and sheets. When we arrived the hotel arranged for porters to assist us in carrying our baggage around, which we paid for separately, but it was a... More

I read so many positive reviews before I left, I wasn't sure whether I might be dissapointed when I arrived but I had no reason to worry. Villa La Tartana is beautiful. The location is right down on the beach, yet tucked away so it's not too loud. The decor in the reception and each room is so classic, white... More

I had a wonderful time! The view is spectaculkar, the cleaniless and charm in this BnB is above any expectation! The staff is very friendly, charming and knowledgeable esp. the cute lady Carmela!...I told ALL my friends about it and they are changing their plans to viist the Amalfi Coast instead of Naples! Ciao until next time!

We stayed a couple of nights in late September in a 4th floor room facing the beach, with a small balcony - our room also had a small terrace where we could look up the hill. The views of the beach, of the dock, the church dome (practically in our lap), and even up the hill were spectacular. The room... More

Our room was at the very top and we had a good view of the beach. There was ALOT of stairs to climb though. We also found the room a little small and our balcony was definitely thinner than the ones below us. The table on our balcony, where we were served breakfast, was not even the width of the... More

you simply can't go wrong with this hotel. The staff were exceptionally nice. The descent into Positano is daunting, but to be met with a porter who takes your bags to the hotel says a lot about this stylish resort which has so far not succumbed to any tack in any shape or form. try the max restaurant nearby -... We wanted the Villa Rosa for 4 days, but they could only book us for 2. They suggested we stay the remaining nights at their sister hotel, the Villa La Tartana and we reluctantly agreed. Well, we were expecting a letdown, but that is not what happened. We got a new living experience that was different but equal to the... More
