The reason I did not give them a better rating is that they did not tell us that the did not have a lift and many stairs. Also a Very long walk from where you are dropped off to where the hotel was. Service was very good but would not stay there again. We had ask about a restaurant on... More

This is a lovely small hotel overlooking the beach and pier in Positano. We stayed here for three nights in late October. The weather was beautiful and the views from our balcony were spectacular. Our room was small but with the balcony doors opened and the sound of the surf and breathtaking views, it seemed much larger. The bathroom was... More

This is a lovely small hotel in Positano and the location cannot be better. It sits just above the beach and next to the church. Close to great restaurants. All rooms are sea view or partial sea view and decorated very tastefully. This is a true find and reasonable in a town that is expensive. The staff is very friendly... More

Villa Tartana was overall a great experience. The staff was very warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We had a partial sea view room and it very lovely. The room was very clean. Walls are a bit thin so sometimes we would hear the other guests beside and above us. However, the location of this hotel couldn't be... More

We just returned from Positano where we stayed at Villa La Tartana. We really enjoyed our stay and wish to thank all the staff especially Alessia who made us feel so welcome and helped us with everything we needed. The hotel is ideally located just steps from the beach, but I would recommend you ask the porters to take your... More

Not far from the harbourside but up quite a few steep steps. The hotel is in an excellent central location. Amazing views over the sea and town. Room very clean with free WiFi. Excellent helpful staff especially Carmella. Breakfast was very good and enough t set you up for the day,

This is an amazing place to stay on. Positano! It is located very "low" in the town, right next to the church. So this means minimal steps down to the beach and the dock. Having stayed much higher up on a past visit to Positano, I really appreciated the difference! We had a really nice double room with a fabulous... More

The accommodations and staff at this lovely hotel were well beyond expectation. From the moment my husband and I arrived until the moment we left, we were treated with first-class service and attention. Alessia, Carmela, and Fabrizio treated us like family and were also wonderful communicators before our trip (answering my many questions). We dream of returning to Positano one... More

Time for the Rock Steve's "Europe through the Back Door" experience. Fab B&B with a young Italian type Grandma taking care of your every need! Carmella greats you and treats you like her own, with the efficiency of a general manager. We had the apartment studio with kitchen and huge space for a family of 5...nice treat in Italy. While... The staff of the hotel starting with Carmela is EXCELLENT. Friendly, always eager to help and very nice. We stayed in the studio which is not located on the Villa Premises, it is situated on a first floor, near the steps that lead to the Spiagga (Beach) so it is very busy and noisy, specially saturday night when you get...
