This was a lovely b&b practically right on the beach. We had a private balcony with a view of the beach and also of the amazing towering landscape of Positano behind us. Our breakfast was served on the balcony which was such a romantic treat. Carmela was a wonderful hostess, and she arranged our dinner reservations at Cafe Positano with... more

We stayed at this beautiful B&B on the recommendation of some friends who had stayed there previously. Loved it! The location couldn't be better - steps up from the beach and surrounded by quaint shops and restaurants. This is a big plus as the town is literally built into the side of a cliff. Hills don't scare me but I... more

I would strongly recommend Villa La Tartana in Positano. The staff was incredible. They were warm, friendly, and VERY helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect....and it was! The rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday. We were thankful for the working air conditioning, and room refrigerator. It was an added bonus. Breakfast was brought to... more

Was staying with friends in Positano but this place was recommended so I asked to have a look around. Thought it looked charming - not too big nor too small, a VERY convenient location with everything close by, and yet a lovely relaxing atmosphere once you go through the doors. And the staff I met treated me like an old... more

My husband and I arrived in Positano with another couple to check into Villa La Tartana. Finding it was quite a challenge; parking was another. However, we were given as complete of directions as possible. The staff was very friendly and did their very best to make our stay as welcoming as possible. They even put a bouquet of fresh... more

This was a fantastic hotel. The room and view were great but the service went above and beyond. The mid day manager was so helpful she arranged for all the little tactical details that can make a vacation a nightmare. Things like arranging local travel and unbiased recommendations on places to eat really added to our break. Well Done!! more

We spent 2 days there and as always it was the most enjoyable, relaxing, friendly atmosphere of our trip. The staff were always helpful, they made reservations for us at restaurants, boats and had lots of suggestions when we asked. Thanks Villa La Tartana!!!! more

This was my sixth visit to Positano and this hotel and the staff always ensure we have a great time. Near the beach and convenient for the shops and restaurants it is ideally situated in the heart of Positano. The sea views are to die for and breakfast served in your room on the balcony is a big plus. Rates... more

We stayed at Villa La Tartana for three days and nights and it was the perfect place to stay for many reasons. The staff is very welcoming and speaks excellent English. They were most accommodating and helpful. Our room on the top floor was sparkling clean with excellent appointments and looked out onto the bay and the church -- a... more
