Our room was beautifully furnished and came with stunning views over the Positano beach and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. It doesn't get much better than this and our room came with a friendly white dove that we fed by hand daily on our veranda!!! Many great restaurants were just a short stroll either along the beach front or further up... More

We stayed at Villa La Tartana in September 2011 for one week. It is a delightful, charming and perfectly postioned hotel in the heart of Positano with delightful views of the beach and the endless comings and goings of all manner of boats. The staff were friendly and helpful and we felt very welcomed. I would highly recommend this little... More

The staff (Alessia, Carmela, and Fabrizio) at Villa La Tartana were the friendliest and most helpful staff out of all the hotels we stayed at during our vacation in Italia. They always greeted us with a smile and asked what they could do to help us. The staff advised us of great restaurants, bus and boat schedules, and things not... More

For 10 years I have been planning to visit Positano for my 40th birthday. I was recommended by a friend to stay at Villa La Tartana. As soon as I saw the website I was sold! The rooms were picture perfect, what you see is what you get. Right from the moment I booked, Alessa and Carmela were so helpful.... More

My husband and I stayed here at the end of September for 4 night. The location is great, right next to the church a minute walk from the beach. The hotel is in great condition, nice airy white rooms. We were lucky enough to be located on the top floor with an ocean view which was spectacular. The staff were... More

Although it seemed hard to find it really wasn't. To get there once you leave the main road you just follow the laneway down. Keep turning to the left and at the Church steps--turn left and go to the end and you are there. This was a very nice clean and bright B&B. The view of the ocean was very impressive.... More

Stayed at Villa La Tartana in September to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, we had visited Positano before but we had always wanted to stay! and we made the right choice. What a delightful little hotel, in a great position with superb views it really couldn't have been better. All the staff are pleasant and helpful and will go out... More

From the moment we arrived at Villa La Tartana the staff couldn't have been more helpful with our needs. Our bags were taken to our room and we were appreciative of that because our room was on the top (3rd) floor and there is no elevator. But the view from our room was spectacular! We could almost touch the duomo... More

44 steps from the beach (which is not a lot of steps for Positano), Villa La Tartana provided us with a great place to stay that didn't require us to be hiking up and down the steep streets for anything we needed. A small room with a big balcony allowed us to sit and watch the world go by. The... More

Villa La Tartana is a tiny, boutique hotel located right near the beach. My daughter and I spent one week here in late August. We were treated very warmly by Carmela and the staff. The hotel is spotless. The location cannot be beat. I highly recommend it. More
