The hotel is build in the rock and I found it cold and not cozy during the hot summer. However, the view from the room and from the restaurant was absolutely stunning. Breakfast was just as in all hotels. It was nice stay but way overpriced for the actual service.

Let me start by saying that I LOVED Positano. The only thing I did not like was the Domina Home Royal. The hotel was in major need of updating, with rundown looking hallways and rooms that are done to the bare minimum. Furthermore, most of the staff were not friendly or helpful. If you spoke Italian, you would get much... More

Much depends on the room you get and the price you pay for it , we got 305 and were very pleased as we read some (too) negative comments . Maybe the hotel is a bit "outdated" but so are those of the 19th century as well and look at how much you pay for these . Very good breakfast... More

Doors banging all night, next to a service elevator they use till midnight then start again at 6. Room nice, view great, breakfast ok, over 700 steps down to beach which means 700 back up, enjoyed the exercise. Emailed them 3 times prior to arriving by car no response. Just about worth the money for the view. Don't think we... More

Our hotel room was very big and had a nice balcony overlooking the pool and the water, but was pretty dated. The hotel was easy to find after being dropped off by the bus from Sorrento (as a side note, i would reccomend getting a private car to take you to naples the a train to your next destination- if... First things first, please be aware that the photos on the hotel website are quite deceiving. This place looks like paradise on paper but it's quite shabby and outdated in reality. Yes the views are absolutely spectacular, but everything else is below par and not up to standards. If you go expecting this hotel to look like the website photos,... More

I just recently stayed in Positano with my 30 year old daughter. The ads paint a lovely picture of the place but they're very deceiving. We were so shocked when we arrived from Rome that we asked to see another room. Yes, it's a lovely, quite spot towards the top of the hill and the views were amazing from the... More

My friend Susie, Erin and I were traveling to Positano and needed a place where we could have 3 stay in a room. We were pleasantly surprised at how big the room was and could accommodate 3 girls and their bags! The hotel view of Positano is incredible...the breakfast is so lovely on the terrace! We were impressed they also... More

The room was clean and provided the basics. No cold fridge though which was an issue. The pool was nice but you need bathing caps or no go. The tennis court/soccer pitch was fun for the kids - they played with oither kids in hotel. The breakfast was gret - fantastic coffee to start the day was nice. Walking distance... More
