I travelled to Italy with my family of 7 plus a baby early October. We had 4 rooms at this hotel and each one was unique - they were all on the 3rd floor. The view from each of the terraces is stunning. You could pay much more for a 5 star hotel that wouldn't give you the same view.... More

My husband and I were in Positano the first week of October (2014). Weather was glorious. About 24 degrees (celcius) every day and never dipped below 18, even at night. The Villa Rosa is the perfect place to stay in Positano, especially if you are on an upper floor (I strongly recommend requesting a higher floor because the views may... More

friendly staff, great location, close to beach, shops, restaurants & Sita bus stop. Clean room with lovely views, Breakfast is conveniently served in your room at a time to suit & is more than enough. Unfortunately we had noisy, inconsiderate neighbours (on one side) which highlihted the lack of soundproofing.

One of our favorite hotels in one of our favorite places! We have been here twice , and hope to go back. Loved the views of not only the ocean ,but also the town of Positano ,clinging to the cliffs. Loved watching the lights coming on at dusk! It is very romantic! The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms... More

My wife and I loved Positano and we loved this beautiful hotel. All rooms have a private terrace facing the water where breakfast is brought to you every day! The rooms are neat and clean and the service staff is top notch. Larger hotel chains could learn about customer service by staying at the Villa Rosa for a couple nights.... More

This hotel is centrally located, is very clean, has comfortable beds, very well sized rooms and the staff is eager to please. I can't imagine anyone rating this less than 4 stars unless they had an incident which (having met most of the staff) seems unlikely. If you are a couple or group looking for a great stay, I can't... Loved the room and the terrace, close to town, and the front desk lady (wears makeup, pretty, brown hair, big eyes) is very sweet and was incredibly helpful to us. Note that the breakfast is NOT included in the rate. Juice, Tea, Coffee and Bread is, but not fruit, eggs, etc…They have you write in on the card what you... More

Booking the hotel was extremely easy, we got quick and friendly responses in English. The rooms were extremely and fairly modern. The view we had was outstanding as it overlooked the town and the sea. They served breakfast on our private balcony, so we had the perfect view every morning. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and eager to help out... More

Having only trip advisor recommendations to go on, we booked a 5 night stay at Villa Rosa for the last stage of our Italian holiday. It was an excellent decision, living up to the many glowing reviews posted by happy customers. We enjoyed the views, the location, the breakfast on our terrace each day and of course the hospitality of... More

Outstanding location and beautiful views. We recently stayed in the apartment on the 4th floor, breakfast on the balcony was amazing, also sitting and watching the sunset. There are a lot of stairs, but the staff are wonderful, they deal with luggage and with any request you have. I would certainly stay at Villa Rosa again.
