Our stay at the Miramare (June 9 - 11, 2008) was as good as it gets. Rosita, our hostess, and her staff were friendly and helpful beyond the call of duty. Rosita's restaurant recommendations were perfect as were her suggestions for daily activities. Our only regret is that we only stayed 3 nights and 2 full days. We only had... more

Had a good room ,adequate bathroom but the terrace/balcony was fantastic and we changed our plans to spend most of a day hanging out there. Hotel is twin of more expensive one in Positano and share a private boat with them which you can book on for free (!) for a tour of the coast. They also bring breakfast to... more

We just returned from 4 nights at The Hotel Miramare, and had a great time. We had room 206, and although it wasn't a "special room" we had a great balcony and view, and even a sitting room with small flat panel TV. I would recommend spending a few minutes at check in to sit down with Rosita to help... more

WOW! What a wonderful hotel. We just returned from a two week trip to Italy and spent three wonderful nights in Positano. This hotel is just perfect and Rosita and Nicola were the most gracious hosts. We are a family of four and stayed in the lovely apartment property with three huge rooms, two full baths, and a really large... more

This was a wonderful hotel in Positano, very close to the main beach area (with restaurants, night life, etc.). The hotel itself has fantastic huge rooms with magnificant balconies overlooking the water. There's a few rooms where there's an open window in the tub so you can look at the sea while bathing...very cool. The breakfast is fantastic and the... more

We stayed at the Miramare for two nights at the end of May. Our room was very spacious with separate bed and sitting areas and a comfortably-sized bathroom. Our balcony felt private and included two deck chairs as well as a table and two more chairs - a great place to relax and enjoy the wonderful view. The common areas... more

This is much better than a two start hotel. The location is the best in Positano as far as I'm concerned. A little closer to the water than the Sireneuse and half the price. The staff is awesome and friendly. Steps? Lots of steps everywhere in Positano. Do get a cab up to Donna Rosa in Montepurtoso straight up the... more

This hotel was recommended by friends and everything about it was fantastic! We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Rosita and staff were very helpful and attentive, breakfasts were delightful, rooms were spotless. more

We stayed at this place during our honeymoon and it was just okay. The biggest problem was that we had to move rooms because something was wrong with the plumbing in our room. That put a damper on things. Later, when we asked the hotel staff for a dinner recommendation they suggested a place that wasn't so good, over-priced, and... more

Rosita and Romeo are exceptional. They are truly the kindest people I have ever met at a hotel. They will make your hotel stay memorable, enjoyable and unforgettable. Their service is what makes this hotel stand out from many others. We had room #212 and it was basic, had simple furnishings, was clean, big balcony and an amazing view. This... more
