Constantino & his family are simply "the consummate hosts"...Having been involved in the service industry for 20+ years, I like to think I have a proper appreciation of what "hospitality" should be...The setting & the ambiance were spectacular...but the welcoming nature of this family is just inexplicable! Most enjoyable experience ever! Hope to return at some point...FIVE STAR service is... More

Constantino gave us a warm welcome and was so helpful to organize our stay and trips. Son Julio prepared an excellent and delicate breakfast and lunch packet. We stayed there too early in the spring season to enjoy exuberant flower vegetation and wonderful swimming pool. Nice sea view from the terrace of our room.

One of my favourite places on earth! Such beauty, tranquility, simplicity! Costantino and his family are natural hosts and so very accommodating. I've been a guest of theirs on and off since 1997 and can't wait to go back.

When we first arrived in Positano, we had been travelling for several weeks, and had grown weary of all the crowds we encountered from Venice to Capri to Sorrento. We needed some relaxation, and La Fenice was just the perfect solution. It is a family run bed and breakfast, headed up by Costantino, his able bodied sons, and his wife... More

Spend 5 nights at this lovely B&B in Positano last September. Great experience, the Owner Constantino treated us like Family. His two sons served exquisite Breakfasts at the beautiful Terrace overlooking the sea. The accomodations were great (Keep in mind, it is a B&B and not a deluxe resort!!). There is a private Beach down some 180 steps. All in... More

This family run bed & breakfast is a must if you are going to visit Positano. The views are gorgeous and it is one of the only places to have there very own private beach. The views at breakfast are breathtaking as well. They will go out of their way to make you happy, one morning after a storm we... More

The family welcomes you personally and takes care of all your needs. Arrangements such as trips, boots or just advise on the local culture is given with passion at any time. The family really makes you feel part of them. Both in de b&b as outside. We came with our little boy (2,5yrs) who loved it there.. The pool, the... More

This was our second year (repeater) staying at La Fenice. It felt like coming home. The Mandara Family are amazing hosts and take great pride in their property and making their guests feel welcome. Carved out of the side of a cliff, the various terraces and rooms are accessed by the most beautiful stairs you will ever climb with stunning... More

My husband and I stayed here on the Amalfi leg of our Honeymoon. We decided to rent a car and drive from Rome, if you decided to drive please note that La Fenice is somewhat easy to miss. We probably drove but the entrance about 10 times. Upon arrival we were greeted by family and some animals. La Fenice has... More

the propery is not for everyone by virtue of the many steep steps that one is required to negotiate to get around , but it is otherwise a charming , well located b & b with spectacular vistas. The proprietors could not be more helpful or hospitable. highly recommended.
