Sometimes Im wondering who are the people that are writing on tripadvisor... cause saying that Conca d'Oro is the best place ever - well, I definately dont agree with this... Stayed there 4 nights, it wasnt bad, but not fantastic! The room was pretty big with a small balcony, bathroom ok, but the water preassure was very low in the... More

If you're going to Positano (or anywhere in the Amalfi Coast), be prepared to walk and climb stairs - there's no way around it! It was exactly one mile to the beach down a winding hill and the SITA bus to Sorrento/Amalfi were about 1/2 mile or so up the hill. Super convenient jumping off point to anywhere on the... More

The Conca D'Oro is one of those hotels perched on the hillside, with access only though a narrow flight of stairs. Thus, cars can't pull up at the entrance and need to stop by the roadside, with luggage being hauled up to the hotel through the narrow alleys and stairs. Having said that, the hotel is quite luxurious, and is... More

Definitely get a room on the upper floor with a balcony to have a great view of the bay and Positano. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was large, bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious. Breakfast was a typical Italian spread: cereal, fruit, breads, cheese. Was plenty to sustain long days of hiking and sightseeing. Yes - there are lots of... More

This hotel is amazing and I would even go as far as saying it should be more than a 3 star hotel!! But please get this straight as I have viewed many bad comments about this hotel on this site... Yes their are ALOT of stairs! But hey if your coming to Positano and don't expect to have to treck... More

Dear guest thank you for your appreciation. The criticism of our guests are always welcome, we need to improve if they are constructive . We cannot consider them ,because is not correct , if the guest complains only because he was asked to pay for a service received. We hope to see you next time and to do better than... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Was charged 8euros 60 cents for an international call. Duration of the call was maximum 2minutes. Very ordinary hotel. Uncomfortable beds. Showers are terrible as water is easily spilled. Old lady at the reception very rude. Would not stay there again.

A few things need to be mentioned about this, if you are arriving by road and use a GPS it will take you to the top road where there is no access by car you need to go further down the hill and turn left there is then a garage where you can leave your car and your luggage will... More

A nice hotel, lovely village with its small streets and lemon-scented Siciliano. The hotel is in the slope over the sea, and you can savour a wine glass seeing the Tirreno sea. There are two collaborators there, in the hotel, that helped us a lot: Ariana e Floriana. Floriana in special, helped me so much when I lost my documents... More

My wife and I arrived here in Jan after driving from Sorrento. As there was little space on the road, we had to park our car by the side of the road and walk to the hotel. As mentioned in many other reviews, there are quite a number of steps to reach the door of the hotel. However if you... More
