Yes, there is a climb of 107 steps from the road but it is so worth it. Take them slow, talk to the people you meet along the way. A local lady who walked up with me on my first arrival told me I was nearly at the top, laughed and said "Positano is good for the legs and good... More

1. Health alert! Conca dOro is a dangerous hotelTO the health of his guests due to the fact that guests need toCLIMB 104 steep steps from the street to the lobby. This fact isn't mentioned NEITHER in the hotel web site nor in the Hotel brochure. It's a shocking experience that each guest goes thru when he arrived to Conca... More

Dear customer, we thank you for your review The criticisms are always welcome .We can improve and offer more and more services to our guests. We will treasure his advice. But we want to remind you that Positano is also called the vertical city and its stairs are the main feature that distinguishes it from other locations. Maybe it's for... More

Stayed for two nights. Have to agree with the other writers. The hotel is easy to locate, amazing views, great staff, nice rooms, good breakfast and clean. There are lots of steps, 107 I think, but this is Positano. The staff and the views are what will stand out from my visit to this hotel.

We have stayed at the Conca d'Oro before and will be returning. Positano is just beautiful and the hotel provided excellent views of the bay from the terrace of our superior room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room and meals are first class. As to be expected in Positano there are many steps to navigate once... More

The hotel was amazing. The staff was very helpful and friendly. All spoke English very well and were great with recommendations of places to see and information on the history of Positano. The hotel had excellent views of the bay and the meals in the restaurant were excellent. The staff were knowledgeable and kind. We loved everything about Positano and... More

Considered the "Love" hotel by the locals, it was awesome! The view from our room was so picturesque. The details of the hotel were very ornate. We had perfect weather so we were able to sit outside for every meal! Lucca, the bartender/server, was excellent! He gave us great recommendations for the food and things to do/see in the area.... Positano alone is amazing, but this hotel was by far the best. Great location! Everyone complains about the steps, but really, how else do you expect to get high up for an amazing view!!! We have a superior room with a terrace. We spent a lot of time on it and ordering room service because it is so well priced... More

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in Conca d'Oro, and it will be an experience to cherish. The position of the hotel gives the best angle for the view of the bay, to which we woke up every morning. And what a view it was!! Breakfast was rich and pampering, ans we also had candle light dinners, in which... More

The hotel was clean and nice. Our rooms were at a separate building with 3 rooms. Wonderful view, really nice and clean rooms. But there seemed to be a wifi but no internet connection, also unfortunately there was very little hot water pressure that meant no hot water.

We stayed here for 5 nights during our 4 week stint in Europe and this one was place we decided not to skimp on the accommodation.... and it was definitely worth it! The hotel is located on the hill opposite and above the main town area. Our driver dropped us exactly where we needed to be and a porter from... More
