Everyone knows Positano has steps so I don't know why people complain about things like this when reviewing places there. Casa Cosenza is only 200 steps up from the beach - a lot closer than most of the accommodation in Positano - our friends had 1,500 steps to theirs! Josephine and her daughter our very hospitable. So friendly and welcoming... More

I don't know if after having an amazing experience in a B&B in Rome prior to arriving here I was expecting something similar and that's why we were disappointed. The room was clean and spacious and had a great view ( nearly everywhere in positano has a great view), but it seemed as though it was very basic. There was... More

This was a great little find on the Amalfi Coast. The rooms are very clean and spacious and the view of the sea is breathtaking. Despite the amount of stairs surrounding the B&B, it is in a very central location - the beach and shops are "steps" away (you will quickly get into great shape!) There is no host like... More

Turned up out of the blue as the apartment we had rented fell threw. From the moment we walked in everything has been amazing. My friend and I were travelling with our babies (6 and 11 months) and the owner Josephine completely made us feel at home. The bedrooms are very typical but very clean. You can purchase breakfast continental... More

The views here look like they are out of a movie or photo shoot. Casa Cosenza met every expectation I had of Positano and Josephine was a pleasure and made us feel right at home. When I come back to Positano, I will be back here!

We stayed in apartment 12 in September this year with our family of 5. The views were amazing from our apartment, the balcony was huge. The apartment was clean but very basic and some things were broken but for the money it was good value. The breakfast was overpriced but there are so many other places to go to. Josephine... More

My husband and I had the good fortune to come across Casa Cosenza in July. Our stay was magnificent, the room a typical, traditional room with a view to die for. Giusi, the owner was helpful, friendly and treated us like family ,not just customers. I would heartily recommend Casa Cosenza to a couple who don't mind climbing the stairs to... More

We stayed here on our last leg of our Italian adventure. Positano in general was a favorite. We had room #7 with the large balcony and awesome view. The room was gorgeous with a good sized bathroom. This cannot be beat. Josephine is the BEST hostess you could ask for! She speaks pretty good English and is very kind and... More

Nice B and (for extra $ :) ) B! Seriously paying extra for the breakfast is not a big deal you either do or don't. The room very clean and comfortable, the view incomparable, and the hostess welcoming. We stayed 2 nights and wished for more. For the price you really can't beat Casa Cosenza!

I know I should start this off talking about the accommodations, but it would be unjust to not mention Josephine at the get-go. She is wonderful, helpful, cheerful, friendly (okay, I'll stop before it begins to sound like the Boy Scout's motto!). Anyway, she and her daughter do a wonderful job making you feel comfortable! I think we had room... More
