The most expensive hotel during our Italy trip with the worst staying experience!!! Unclean room, poor facilities and especially unfriendly staff!! It was raining during our stay so we went out in the afternoon when the rain stoped. When we came back, the room was left untidy without housekeeping. The hotel owner told me it was our fault because we... More

We stayed here celebrating our anniversary. Upon check in, the gentleman at the desk was a little harsh and confrontational and made it a little uncomfortable in the beginning. Other than the small mishap with our hotel reservation, this hotel is just average. The positive upside was the amazing spectacular views of the ocean that also overlooked parts of the... More

Awesome view from room balcony. Great front desk service. Incredible City. Wish we could have stayed longer. If you have mobility issues this city and hotel is not for you. The city is built on a mountain cliff which gives it incredible views but stairs, hills everywhere. Car was stored at a nearby parking area which the hotel arranged for... More

We were in positano for three days. Stayed at casa albertina which is in the center of positano. Lorenzo is a great host, always warm and helpful, and so is the staff who Picked our heavy bags up the stairs. They also took care for a parking for us. He has the best positano view. The place is very clean and... More

Sept 15-18, 2015 This is not a hotel for anyone with mobility issues, there are 70 steps from the street to the front door of the hotel. A porter will collect your luggage but you will have to go up to retrieve him. This is an economy hotel but the rooms are comfortable, with an adequate bathroom, air conditioning worked... More

This is a wonderful little hotel in Positano. Our room had a patio with a view of the town and beach. It was spotlessly clean everywhere. The breakfast was good - standard European buffet, but you could order eggs, etc. for a price (we didn't). The wait staff was very attentive. The room was fairly large with a king size... More

This is a tough review to write. This is a place of extremes. On one hand you have a super polite and pleasant younger man who showed us to our room and also serves breakfast in the mornings. Then you have a prickly older man with a bad temper and a dictator like attitude. When checking in you are forced... More

Stayed 3 nights in a deluxe room with terrace and sea views. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was average. Shower was over the bath with a curtain - not my favourite, but plenty of hot water. Staff were very helpful, The hotel is up several flights of steps - Positano is all on the side... More

First - a word about Positano, in case you haven't figured it out: It is built into the cliffs, which means most places are not on the road, and are reachable only by climbing (sometimes many) steps. That's what makes it so quaint. It also makes you need brawn or a porter, and also means no parking for your car.... More
