First - a word about Positano, in case you haven't figured it out: It is built into the cliffs, which means most places are not on the road, and are reachable only by climbing (sometimes many) steps. That's what makes it so quaint. It also makes you need brawn or a porter, and also means no parking for your car.... More

Nice hotel with great views, clean, good breakfast, good location but some stairs to and from the hotel. Good and knowledgeable staff and advised us on some activities. We walked there and got a tip about a waterfall located in Amalfi. You should take the bus to Amalfi and then begin their journey from the city, it takes 1 hour... More

Great hotel with just fantastic views from your bed. Very clean and well fitted out hotel lovely good size rooms very well appointed Breakfasts are basic but all you need in Positano where you need to not go to far for fantastic food. Having said that the breakfast is fresh and everything is well done. Service is excellent. Very helpful... More

The hotel is very difficult to get to with any luggage We had something go missing from our room - when I went to tell reception to pass it on to management - after relaying the story to the man at reception he told me he was the owner and manager. He was rude and patronizing. Fairly disgusting way to... More

We adores this little family run hotel. The rooms are amazing and the owner is wonderful. 75 steps up but by the 3rd time we were pros at it. Always help for the suitcases. Book long in advance. Breakfast was splendid and the view was amazing! Our balcony was also amazing! Only thing I wish I had was a little... More

This hotel is not easy to find. The result is it is quiet and that's rare in Positano. The rooms are very dated. Everything works (air conditioning, bathrooms.) The views are wonderful and balconies lovely to sit on. There is an area for sun bathing. Breakfast is very basic and there is nothing going on at night. Not even a... More

I would recommend Casa Albertina to anyone looking for a beautiful, authentic, and affordable experience in Positano. We stayed for four nights, and woke up to the one of the most incredible views I have ever seen (have been lucky to see many) each morning. The staff is extremely knowledge, accommodating, and helpful, and provided us with many reservations per... More

We stayed for two nights part of our Italy honeymoon. The view is spectacular, once you look at the view from balcony, you don't wanna leave. Room was very clean and staff was very helpful finding restaurants and getting around in Positano. Strongly recommend breakfast in balcony area enjoying the view.

We stayed in Hotel Casa Albertina for 6 nights. The hotel is amazing, rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Our room was cleaned each time we left the hotel (sometimes even twice a day). We had balcony with beautiful sea and Positano view. Staff was very helpful, nice and friendly. Wi-fi quality was superb, which was very important to us.... More

Standing on our balcony, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, full moon shining - Ahhh this was our experience in Positano. The hotel had marvelous views. The porter schlepped our bags up and down the stairs for us. Fresh towels for the beach, free breakfast. Lovely!
