Very welcoming hotel. The included breakfast is amazing with a great view. The owner/manager was very welcoming. One downfall is that the hotel wifii worked great the first day and then was not working on the following day. Otherwise great view and location near positano city.

Our stay at Al Barilotto was perfect. Giovanni and his family were amazing and made our time much more enjoyable. They have big rooms, a great view to the ocean. Breakfast services is also delicious. Take one night to enjoy the restaurant there.

A wonderful, traditional family run B&B and restaurant in a stunning location. I have been coming to this part of the world for many years and seen the coastal towns of Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento get busier each summer. Al Barilotto is a little out of the town away from the crush, which makes it even better! Each room has... More

Comfortable Italian family run hotel.Great value, great view within short stroll of Positano center.Offered fresh fruit in the continental breakfast but the dinner was Italian home cooked a' la carte menu, scrumptious.Neat, clean, comfortable, spacious accommodation providing Italian singing at night by family members, very special.Highly recommended.

The hotel is not in the city centre. It is located in Praiano, so it's better to go by car. The hotel offer free transfer twice a day which is nice! All room has a incredible view to the sea, space and has wifi free of charge. The breakfast is simple but good. Everything is made by the family who... More

All thanks to Giovani and his family (his wife, brother, nephew and son). We had heard so much about the family and it turned out to be just like that. Very caring people. Al Barilotto Del Nonno is a resturant and hotel on the Laurito road 2 miles from Positano leading towards Amalfi. It is run by lovely family, Giovanni, Maria and Mario, a team that runs the business in an efficient and friendly manner. My wife and I stayed here for four nights in June 2015. We cannot recommend the experience highly... More

Giovanni, Mario and the rest of the family are some of the friendliest and lovely people you could ever meet. Their little B&B / restaurant is a relaxing and memorable experience. The room we had (9) had a huge balcony with great views and sun loungers. The room was clean fresh and airy, great air con too, and a brand... More

The food was so fresh and delicious, and the family who owns the property were so kind and welcoming. I had the tagliatelle with cream, peas and ham and my husband had the gnocchi sorrentino (tomato sauce with fresh mozzarella). These were easily two of the best pasta dishes we have had. What a fantastic experience.
