This was our 4th visit to wonderful Positano and we have always stayed at the high priced hotels on the rim overlooking the town. We love those places, BUT, this time we stayed at Covo des Saraceni and we loved it. The quality of the hotel is almost as good as the high end hotels but the cost is as... More

We have just returned from having a very poor experience with this hotel. Whilst the location is good the hotel is starting to look a bit tired, especially the rooms. Very disappointing was the reception staff. They were quite rude, arrogant and abrupt. They make you feel that you shouldn't ask them anything. I had an accident on the balcony... More

There are many contrasting views about the best location to stay in this wonderful town. In my view the Covo is the outstanding location - located close to the beach, restaurants, bars and shops with great views. Our balcony was on the 3rd floor and sitting watching the activity at the pier, fisherman bringing their catch in to the restaurants,... More

My husband and I stayed at the Covo last June for 5 days. We absolutely loved it! Staff: Was so accommodating, when we arrived the girl at the front desk went out of her way to book us a tour to Capri. Anything we wanted was just a phone call away. When we arrived to our room they had a... More

I found the Covo to be very disappointing. The rooms were fine. They do have extraordinary balconies and the pool is terrific. However, what killed this hotel is the staff. They were difficult, tried to talk us out of eating at any restaurants that the hotel didn't seemingly have arrangements with (including the best meals we had on our trip),... More

We stayed in Covo Dei Saraceni in room #4 in the beginning of May for five days. Overall we really enjoyed Positano overall (probably, the most beautiful town on Amalfi Coast) and the hotel in particular. I think this is a very good hotel in terms of price to value, but a bit old and with some drawbacks. Location is... More

Although this was our third trip to Italy, it was our first trip to the Amalfi Coast. Positano itself was amazing, beautiful and relaxing town on the coast. Covo Dei Saraceni was absolutely breathtaking. If you enjoy a hotel that overlooks the sea, close enough to hear the waves crashing and feel the soothing breezes, then this hotel is for... More

Our stay at this hotel was really pleasant. The hotel itself is located right on the beach, no matter which way you are going to look the beautiful view will make you smile. The rooms are nice and clean. We had the one with the terrace and a sauna. It was really nice. The terrace was big enough for me... More

The Covo is located at the bottom of Positano, by the beach and next to the ferry departure. The staff is really welcoming and helpfull to make the stay easy (they helped us find a scooter, book the ferry). Their restaurant is also quite good but the brasserie which is downstair is actually better value and right by the see.... More

We chose a terrace room. All tile floors. The furniture white with dark blue accents. One side of the room, beds. The other side, the living room. Two white slatted doors at the end of the living room slid open to another room. A bouganvilla climbed the wall and crossed the ceiling! At the end of this room, two glass... More
