From the moment we arrived we were made feel welcome by this beautiful Italian family. What an amazing property with breathtaking views of the Amalfi coast. We spent 5 nights, and didn't want to leave. So relaxing!! The owners provided excellent dinner recommendations, and were happy to help out with planning any day trips as needed. It is definitely a... More

I can’t imagine a better place to stay when visiting Positano. When I started planning our trip I first checked many hotels in Positano, but everything in the city was soooo overpriced. Also you have better chance at winning the lottery, than finding parking space in Positano (just check with Google Maps street view). So I started looking for other... More

Colle delle'Ara was the highlight of our vacation, perched on a mountainside looking down to the sea and surrounded by the family farm. So relaxing! Pasquale and his father were warm hosts who were very attentive and never rushed. Great hiking. Hosts make great recommendations for restaurants, hikes...

We stayed for 3 nights in September at Colle dell'Ara and had a fantastic time. The B&B is located in Montepertuso, in the hills above Positano. Because it is on protected land there is a little bit of a walk up from the road below to the house. This only added to the privacy and magic of staying here. Our... More

What can I say about Colle Dell'Ara: One of the best places we stayed in during our two week trip to Italy and Turkey and the highlight of a great vacation. As other reviewers mentioned, it technically is not in Positano but rather in Montepertuso, up in the mountains. You can catch the Montepertuso/Nocelle bus from Positano (it heads up... More

This B&B is absolutely perfect. The whole experience was wonderful! Our room had possibly the best view of Positano and you can even see Capri from here. We walked into town and back up (gah!) but it was so much fun and so nice to walk through the gardens right onto the balcony. Our room was great with everything we... More

It was one of our best stays in B&B experience. The views, the rooms and the owners Pasquale and Marco made the vacation to be a very big success. The rooms are big and very clean and the decoration and design of the main floor is very nice. There is a roof balcony with breathtaking view of Positano and the... More

Colle dell'ara isn't just a place... It's an experience, and a fabulous one at that! My cousin and I stayed here for three nights in July after booking through airbnb, and we weren't disappointed! Whilst it technically isn't in Positano but a 25 minute bus ride up a steep and windy hill, Followed by a walk through the ravines, you... More

Much like Italy and Positano, Colle dell'ara is not a place. It is a state of mind. We met Pasquale on the winding road that connects the seaside village with the hillside bed and breakfast managed by outstanding family, his father and two brothers. It was a place, physical and spiritual, that we’d never been to before. For three days... More

We book this on ABnB and didn't realize we only had 30 days to write a review! So glad to find them on TripAdvisor. First off, this place isn't in Positano - it is a short bus ride or a semi long walk into town. Regardless, this place is amazing. Our room had a balcony that from the bed you... More
