Magnificent views and great hospitality were the highlights of our 3 night stay at Colle dell'Ara. Looking out over the ocean in the early evening as the sun set, relaxing on the balcony with a wine or three - what more could we wish for. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and the bathroom was of good size. There... More

Loved it all! The breakfast was fresh and probably the best on the Amalfi! The kittens are so cute but don't worry they are very well behaved and wont go near you unless you want them to, they also live outside where they have a great life. The staff and the owner were so hospitable and helpful. I enjoyed the... More

We loved our stay at Colle dell'ara for many reasons. It has a comfortable, peaceful ambience. The warm hospitality of the hosts Pasquale, Giacomo and Michele was exceptional and they were always helpful. The hosts prepare meals from their home grown organic produce with traditional recipes and are not to be missed. It is accessible to some great eating places... More

We stayed 6 nights on our honeymoon from Australia as we love walking, great views and authentic experiences. The personal service was amazing with advice and bookings for amazing restaurants just nearby. The regular dinners cooked by Giacomo and his father Miguel were great traditional experiences that are enjoyed by all the guests. I highly recommend this place but be... More

Went there in July with my girlfriend and want to come back next year. Amazing view on the coast, very quiet and romantic place surrounded by the nature, very kind host and natural organic food for breakfast. Recommended for Slowfood and Nature lovers.

We stayed here for the last week of our honeymoon. It is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed and we can't wait to go back. We felt very welcomed by the three brothers and their family. This B&B isn't in Positano, it is in Montepertuso which is a small village further up the mountain than Positano... More

Colle dell'ara is a truly special and beautiful B&B. Amazing breath-taking views and a peaceful sanctuary. Giacomo was extremely helpful and guided us easily to the B&B where we were greeted by his brother Pascal and their father who helped us bring our luggage up. As most others have reviewed, the property is a walk up some paths and steps... More

This is the place to be when in positano if you like quiet, amazing view, with all food grown on the premises, and with amazing hosts! We had great time, two nights there. Service is top level. Laguage us carried for you from the road to your room. Several times a week they offer dinner which costs 30 Euro per... More

My husband and I were in Positano a few years ago for our honeymoon and fell in love with the place. This year we returned to experience this magical place from new perspectives, Colle dell'Ara being one of the most memorable. With its high up position, the views down to Positano and out to Capri are breathtaking. There are no... More

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B! The staff was extremely attentive and made our stay in Positano a most enjoyable family trip. From the very start they made sure we were comfortable and took the time to explain how to navigate our way around this unique vertical city tucked into the mountain. Besides all of the excellent recommendations... More
