We were excited to go to this hotel, however we have been disappointed. Very expensive to what it offers but true: it may be hard to find something cheaper by the coast and with seaview! BUT... However, it may not be so important to be by the sea as you can move around easily by water taxi / taxi or... more

we stumbled upon this hotel at the last minute--- the price was almost half of the other 5 star hotel in Positano -- Le Sirenuse where we had debated on staying because the pool looked so great. Le Agavi was FABULOUS. Our room was huge and sparkling clean with a beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean. The staff was friendly. The... more

We were a little worried about booking this place with the last review being in 2007, but are so glad we went ahead. The hotel is an amzing place set within the mountain. The views from our room were stunning. We had a sea view junior suite and it had a large balcony with a table 2 chairs and 2... more

I stayed here in June and loved it. At first view, the hotel is amazing, built on the side of the mountain with a view overlooking the Mediterrian. Once in my room, I was very happy. The bathroom was very big, the sleeping area had a very comfortable bed, desk and oversized sitting chair. There was also a walk in... more

We stayed in this hotel for the first five nights of our honeymoon and despite staying in other five star hotels for the remainder of the holiday nowhere came close in comparison. The views were amazing, the staff wonderfully friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and the room clean and comfortable with a fantastic terrace. The only slight drawback... more

Without a doubt the views from this hotel are outstanding and the setting is why its five star. However, with the exception of the night barman and a very few others the staff were unhelpful and sulky. The rooms are clean, if a little spartan, but there was very little storage space for clothes and no room safe. (I tried... more

This is one of the best Hotels I have stayed at. The property is perched on the side of a cliff with rooms and suites and villas all the way down to the Private Beach. When we checked into our Jr. Suite, the porter opened the curtains and the view was absolutely like a drug....I couldn't stop looking at it....huge... more

We just returned from 3 weeks in Italy including 5 nights at Le Agavi. The views are spectacular, the food is excellent and the service was impeccable. We travel extensively and have never had better service, including many so called 5 star hotels. Nothing was too much. Whatever the request, the only answer was "of course". Thanks to Raphael, Lucia,... more

We spent three nights here on an extended family trip throughout Italy. What a view! Rooms were decorated beautifully, with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. Clean and immaculate. We found the staff to be friendly and charming. Breakfast was superb. Be sure to take the funicular and the elevator down to the beach. For some reason, many guests don't take... more
