5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed here for 5 nights and I must say it was truly amazing. As you drive into Positano this seems to be the very first place you see. We stayed in room 308 which wasn't too far down on the levels. The higher the floor number the lower the room is down the side of the mountain/cliff. We had an... More

Beautiful view and good service. The pool and restaurant have the best view of positano. Shuttle keeps working until midnight, which is really convinient. The bar close to the pool is an excelent idea and makes it an much better option than positano's beach itself.

My wife and I stayed at Le Agavi and wanted it to be a special trip. This property is just fantastic. Granted for about twice the price there are two other hotels that might be a bit better. But for the value, this was simply great. The front desk and lobby area was just charming. The room, a walk down... More

We stayed at le agavi at the start of our honeymoon and the hotel was just perfect! Very comfortable rooms with a nice little balcony with the most amazing view over the coast... The great thing about the agavi is that it is a 'vertical' hotel, the reception is at the top of the cliff so u have the awesome... More

The hotel is on the only road to Portofino. It is on a steep hill well above the water. The view of the bay at Portofino is superb, but like almost every establishment on this part of the Amalfi coast, it is not easy to roam in the area. The bedroom and bathroom were functional, but not charming. The best... More

We booked a deluxe room, which was spectacular. We walked in and had the 'wow' moment. Would definitely recommend upgrading if possible, as there is quite a difference between rooms. Lots of great things to say about the hotel, but on the day we were due to leave, we couldnt have a late checkout, as someone was coming into the... More

I agree with the other posts, this is NOT a 5 star hotel. I was shocked when I arrived to see that is what they consider a 5 star hotel. Our room had a funny smell in it that never went away. They charged us for wifi and then it stopped working for three days. They said they would give... More

If you live in the states, this is not a five star hotel - three stars would be more appropriate as the rooms are clean. A few things...it's VERY far from the city center and even though they've a shuttle service that drops you off, it's def a hike. We landed in the Port of Postiano and had to walk... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights during our 2 weeks in Italy and had a great time. The only downfall is that the hotel is about 10-15 minutes outside of town (by car), but they run a free shuttle service every hour. On the upside, it was built into the side of a cliff above Positano, so... More

without prior knowledge of the property we booked the room based on the 5* rating. This hotel is a 3* at best based on the quality of the rooms, the beds and the condition of the property. The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. The beds are like sleeping on concrete, on the third night we asked for a mattress... More

Dear Sir/Madam, Referring to your review, we think that your judgements are groundless, and we cannot take them into consideration in order to improve our hotel. They are clearly dictated by the non-refund for your early departure. We could not satisfy your request as we have rejected other booking requests for the period of your stay. For the future you...
