We absolutely loved Hotel Palazzo Murat. Before visiting the Amalfi Coast for the first time, I spent A LOT of time looking at which town to stay in and then what hotel and our choice could not have been better. We loved the location (a quick 5 minute walk from the beach), the view, though not from the top of... More

This hotel was very clean. I loved that I could smell Moroccan oil throughout the hotel. The rooms were very simple. Clean. Had a wonderful view! Beds were a little hard, from what I recall, but most beds in Italy seemed this way. I really liked that they had gardens on their grounds. So quaint and enchanting. The restaurant cooks... More

Absolute perfection. If you are after a true Italian experience Palazzo Murat is a must. The staff were amazing, the food, our room and the gardens were incredible. The property itself is in the best location- just a short walk to the beach. The complementary daily boat trips were brilliant. We did not want to leave and will return next... More

We stayed at Palazzo Murat for three nights in September and we could not have been happier with our choice. The hotel is beautiful, breakfast is delicious and the location is the absolute best in Positano. And last but not least, the hotel offers a complimentary boat cruise around Amalfi which was the highlight of our trip! We would highly... More

A very nice hotel serving a wonderful breakfast. Nice pool in a quiet garden setting. Positano is hilly and lots of walking is required if you are on the outskirts of the main street. This hotel sits a short stroll to the main beach with shops and varied restaurants. Antonino is very accommodating from a service perspective. Rooms are wonderful.... More

Palazzo Murat is a perfect little gem! It overlooks the church, town and has amazing views of the sea! Only a few steps from EVERYTHING in Positano! The sheets are pure luxury! Etro shampoos and soaps. Breakfast on my balcony a joy! They grow herbs and veggies in the garden, and of course those amazing lemons! It is a beautiful... More

The Palazzo Murat was in fact built by the King of Naples. The original achitechture of the historic section reflects this refinement and elegance. Just by walking into the rooms, you feel the essence and elegance of living well. Although the structure has been modified to bring all the modern amenities to it's guests, the charming Old World of elegance... More

I am almost certain that if you are planning a trip to Positano then you should choose this very nice hotel. Even in late October the nearby lanes and alleys were busy enough for us to welcome the calm oasis of the Palazzo Murat. We ate out around the town and also in the hotel restaurant (very pleasant and a... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I was pleased to note that you appreciate our location and enjoyed our restaurant service, but naturally disappointed that you felt our staff was not attentive to your needs and that the room you have stayed in was noisy. Custmore service is an area that... More

The hotel is very well situated, just a short walk to the beach. The terrace, garden and outside dining area are beautiful. The interior is less impressive and a little old fashioned, but still very presentable. Our room was a good size, with a decent size en-suite. We had a balcony with a lovely view. We found all the staff... More
