To be honest, we initially chose Rifugio degli Dei because we left booking so late that we couldn't afford accommodation in Positano centre. But my goodness am I glad we did! Davide and his family were the warmest, loveliest and most helpful hosts. We were greeted by Davide on the main road where our taxi dropped us off (which he... More

Picture postcard views of the amalfi coast and positano. Comfortable and spacious apartment with well appointed bathroom and modern kitchen. Private terrace with table chairs and sunloungers. Fantastic homemade breakfast made by the friendly mother of the family and five star service and local knowledge from son, David. The walk of the gods starts out the back of the house... More

A beautifully restored country house on the hill above Arienzo beach with fantastic views to Positano! The climb to the property does involve around 250 stairs from the street, but if you want to avoid stairs don't go to the Amalfi coast as all the villages involve stairs either from the street to the beach or the street to the... This was the second time we spend our holiday at Rifugio degli Dei and, again, we had a great time. The view from the terrace of the Rifugio at Positano and the sea is fabulous. But what make's this place very special is the great hospitality and warmth of Anna, Davide and family. They have special attention for their guests... More

Yes, there will be stairs--lots of them--but Rifugio deli Dei makes the steep walk well worth your while. The views from the main terrace and from our room were among the most beautiful I discovered anywhere along the Amalfi Coast, and the family that runs this B&B are gracious beyond belief. Davide, one of four sons, greeted us with genuine... More

This is a stunning place, with perfect hosts, and some of the best possible views of Positano and the peninsula from its various terraces. Anna's breakfast pastries and cakes are disturbingly good, and there is a not-so-mini bar of local wines; so perhaps for health reasons it is just as well that this is such a good starting point for... I'm so pleased we found Rifugio delgi Dei. I first discovered it on the Guardian Travel website, and the amazing reviews here on TripAdvisor persuaded us to give it a shot, as we were keen to use Positano as a base from which to explore the Amalfi Coast, as well as Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Mount Vesuvius. Our host, Davide, met... More

Rifugio degli Dei is truly a beautiful refuge. Set high in the hills above Positano, the views are magnificent! It is a former farmhouse that has been delightfully converted into a 3 room bed and breakfast. Our room had a terrace with a table and chairs, a very comfortable bed, small kitchenette, wi-fi, and private bath. Very reasonable homemade lemonccello... More

Rifugio Degli Dei is a gem which sits in the hillsides of Arienzo overlooking Positano. It was a pleasure to wake up to that view every morning. The number one aspect of this accommodation has to be the friendliness of the Fusco family that run it. Davide is a great host who became a friend, Anna prepared excellent breakfast every... More

Beautiful old farmhouse converted into a 3-room B & B. Our room was perfect, with a sitting area, a nice kitchenette that has snacks, wine, and farm-made limoncello for purchase, and comfy beds. The room was cleaned every day, and the en-suite bath was perfect, and our private terrace included a table, chairs, and gorgeous loungers. The heater/air con worked... More

“Rifugio degli Dei” rose from what was an ancient rural house built in the middle of the 8 century by our great-grandfathers, who, with knowledge and passion, were dedicated to the cultivation and care of the vast olive groves, gardens and animals that surrounded this special place.Ideal for an holiday in Positano, it was perfectly reconstructed in 2007 and particular attention was paid to preserving the architectural character typical of the Amalfi Coast and of Positano. ... more   less
