Our suite was a small condo and perfect for our needs. the family was welcoming and very helpful- not to mention the adorable dogs running around! The land that the property is on is owned by the family and very green: they garden, have their own farm animals and the locals all share their special produce..great family orientated place. the views... My fiancé and I stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it. Our hosts could not have been more hospitable. They even helped look for parking, which is an impossible task in Positano! We were only going to stay two nights but loved it so much we stayed one more. It is only a short walk from town. Most... More

The best view of Positano at the top , from this wonderful retreat! It is one of the most memorable stay for us in Italy. Plus the heavenly breakfast ( you really get spoiled by the family owners). Yes it is worth the climb of more than 400 steps ! It is a perfect location for our 5 days adventure... More

We travelled through Italy for two weeks, staying in numerous places and this was by far the best. The views from our room were simply breath-taking and the hospitality provided by Davide and his family was first-class. They were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The accommodation itself was also fantastic and therefore... More

If I'm honest, when we arrived and started climbing and climbing those steps, I thought we had made a mistake. It was a longer climb than I had expected, even having read the other reviews. It was so worth it though. As other have said, the view from the terrace is breathtaking and I cannot think of a better place... More

After an amazing trip to Rifugio last year, we couldn't imagine a more spectacular vacation so we returned again this year! It is simply the best place we have ever stayed! If you are in search of a really special, authentic Italian experience then Rifugio is perfect for you! Everything the other reviewers say is true...Anna, Davide and the entire... More

I'm so glad that we stayed here during our week in Positano. The rooms were super-clean with everything you need to be comfortable. The views from the room and the terrace were incredible. The B&B is a family run business that is mainly run by Ana & her son Davide. It's also a "country house". They have olive trees, grape... More

ThIs place is absolutely beautiful! Picture olive, fig, and lemon trees hanging over you while having unobstructed views of the Mediterranean sea. This place does everything right, from breakfast with something homemade and different everyday to daily room tidying by Anna. David and Anna go above and beyond to ensure you have an incredible stay. I will caution that it... More

What a place! Set high up in the hills above Positano, this is a real gem to escape to after the hustle and bustle of the busy Amalfi coast. Surrounded by verdant gardens growing all kinds of fruit and vege (many of which you enjoy in the homemade breakfast) the view is unbeatable. Davide, Simone and their mother (and the... More

Rifugio degli Dei is a refuge. Away from the ever present tourist hordes on Amalfi, away from the busy-ness of the roads and businesses elsewhere, come here. As others have stated-the hike here is not for the faint of heart, but certainly not something that should dissuade ANYONE but the very out of shape from doing. They kindly haul your... More
