This place is perfect...close to walk to the village but very quite. The rooms have great views as the dining room. In the evening you can have dinner in the terrace "al fresco". The place is family owned by three generations and you can see this by the way you are treated.

We've just spent two nights here, and it was our favourite hotel of five that we stayed at during our 10 day holiday in the 5Terre region. We had a very tasteful, immaculately clean and comfortable room with a fabulous panoramic view over the harbour and to the mountains beyond. The staff were all friendly, attentive and obliging. There was... More

fabulous views from your room makes this stay perfect. Rooms are not overly large but clean & comfortable. Breakfast was the usual fare we found all around Italy. The terrace is a great place for an afternoon coffee looking out over the water. Staff were very friendly & we arranged pick up & return to La Spezia with them. Porto... More

Portovenere (Gulf of the Poets)is a great option to the Italian Riveria instead of the very crowded snd tourist driven Cinque Terra. Hotel Paradiso is in a very good location overlooking the water. I had a fabulous view. Beautiful breakfast room and excellent staff and a resident catalog that will steal your heart. Medium size hotel but it feels more... More

This hotel is beautifully situated overlooking the harbour in Porto Venere. Our room had plenty of storage and was clean and modern. Excellent breakfast included with a good variety of cold cuts, cheeses, pastries and cereals as well as bacon and eggs. Dinner is also offered in a lovely outdoor terrace overlooking the harbour. Ferry to Cinque Terre as well... More

A short distance from the centre of Porto Venere this hotel is clean and well maintained. Rooms have all you need and are comfortable. Walls are a bit thin and the plumbing noisy which makes sleep difficult for light sleepers. Breakfast was rather disappointing and needs some improvement. Staff all friendly and helpful.

We stayed here in early March for 2 nights to visit Cinque Terre. This hotel is family owned since the early 1900's. We were given a corner room on the 3rd floor. Beautiful view overlooking the harbor/bay. Bed was a queen size, plenty of room for 2. Bathroom was a good size although no tub, only a standup corner shower.... More

Lovely spot, easy to walk everywhere. Nice beach to have swim a little walk away. Some local restaurants very snobby and wouldn't serve us. But this hotel couldn't help us enough. Great outlook. Lots to explore very near to here.

Wonderful stay at this hotel. We had a problem finding parking and had to all the way to the top and back down again, so just have patience if you are driving. Great location to visit the Cinque Terre. Boats leave from the dock across from the hotel. We had a balcony room and loved the views. Great rooms with... More

We stayed at Hotel Paradiso for 2 nights at the end of our Cinque Terre walking tour with Hidden Italy. This is a largish hotel and our 1st floor room had a large window with wonderful views over the Bay of La Spezia. The double bedded room was of a good size with a small but practical unsuited bathroom. The... More
