Fantastic location - right by the beaches and very close to where the ferry docked. We had a beautiful sea view from our air conditioned room. We booked a (compact) loft room, which was perfect for the three of us, as our daughter had her own private space. Both the breakfast and evening dining areas have great views over the... More

Adequate place to stay. Nothing fancy at all. But it's a small town and there weren't many choices so we probably had it pretty good. Breakfast was included with the rate. Easy to walk to anywhere in town from this location. Pretty view if you're on the sea side.

One of the most beautiful towns ever! Also the walk from Riomaggiore to Portovenere was incredible especially when you finally desend into the town at sunset it was out of a magical fairytale. Hotel was at a good location close to the main town area and had a lovely balcony/restaurant but the rooms were standard, a bit dingy with no... More

Parking is a nightmare in Porto Venere so having a place to park is real plus. They have a few places outside the hotel entrance and then a small garage underneath the hotel on the road below. Rooms are clean and well kept. The shower was good although the shower head in both rooms we stayed in was a little... More

Arriving in June on a hot Sunday afternoon by car was an experience, once checked in the staff were really helpful with parking. Staff were ever present and nothing seemed too much trouble.Great room with a view from French windows, breakfast was good and the views and service from the bar great. Porto Venere and the Cinque Terre is one... More

Wonderful view to wake up to every morning. Clean & comfortable. Only thing missing was a kettle for an early cuppa but the wonderful staff suppled one on request. Breakfast is very continental as you expect in Italy. Location is perfect, take a bus, take a boat or just walk. In my opinion Portovenere tops the 5 towns.

Stayed here for four nights at the beginning of July on the recommendation of a friend. Had a great time. Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful views and very centrally located. Good range of food on the delicious breakfast buffet - everything from toast and cereals, bacon and eggs, cold cuts and cheese through to Italian parties and cakes. Stunning terrace... More

This place is perfect...close to walk to the village but very quite. The rooms have great views as the dining room. In the evening you can have dinner in the terrace "al fresco". The place is family owned by three generations and you can see this by the way you are treated.

We've just spent two nights here, and it was our favourite hotel of five that we stayed at during our 10 day holiday in the 5Terre region. We had a very tasteful, immaculately clean and comfortable room with a fabulous panoramic view over the harbour and to the mountains beyond. The staff were all friendly, attentive and obliging. There was... More

fabulous views from your room makes this stay perfect. Rooms are not overly large but clean & comfortable. Breakfast was the usual fare we found all around Italy. The terrace is a great place for an afternoon coffee looking out over the water. Staff were very friendly & we arranged pick up & return to La Spezia with them. Porto... More
