We are a family with two small children. We stayed for two nights. The hotel is located to the sea and with only a three minutes walk to the central piazza. The rooms are nice and clean. The decor is classic and simple. We would come back.

Our family stayed one night at this hotel on the way from Genova to Florence. My daughter and I shared a double bedroom. My parents stayed in a quadruple room as there were no more double rooms available. The young lady at the reception was attentive and polite, told us how to use the lift (you have to press the... This was our fourth time visiting Porto Venere and our second time staying at the Belvedere. The location can't be beat and the views are fantastic. We had previously stayed at the Grand but on our last visit it was closed for remodeling so we ended up here. No regrets. The rooms are light and spotlessly clean. They are comfortable... More

For me it's a clean simple hotel that is in a great location with killer views. Staff is warm and helpful. Breakfast is also simple but very nice. Just minutes walk anywhere. Rooms are European size so for American standards a little small, but your only sleeping here... The town is too nice to stay inside. It's a nice stay...

To me, this hotel represents traditional, somewhat old-fashioned soul. The rooms are not luxurious, but they are completely comfortable with adequate storage areas, a good bed, good bathroom with outstanding, custom-made amenities and Frette towels, safe, minibar, and wonderful views. I was lucky enough to have a room with a balcony, which was great. I found their rates perfectly reasonable... More

if you are looking for a hotel that is close to the bus, boat, restaurants and the POI's, Hotel Belvedere is a good option. Our room was very small, the drapes had creepy stains and the small bathroom has an even smaller shower. The linens were crisp and clean; strangely, the pillows very hard and heavy. That being said, our... More

The hotel is ideally located in the sea front of Porto Venere but it is old and it shows that age. If price was 30% less then the value rate would be perfect as we had no issues or problems with our stay

The hotel is very clean and the location is great in Portovenere. The town is very cool, but the weather prevented us from taking a boat to exploring Cinque Terre, so we had to take a bus and train there instead. The rooms have all the basics, but the shower is kind of small and I couldn't fit my legs... More

Hotel Belvedere, a charming hotel strategically located overlooking the picturesque harbor of Porto Venere, offers spacious, clean, and nicely appointed rooms with absolutely breath-taking views of the water and boats. As we had reserved a triple room that was located on the corner, we could also enjoy a view toward the mouth of the bay over adjacent house tops. Glorious!... More

How many place do you have where the "Matriarch" still supervise all the operations . Mamma DellaCroce still make home made ravioli that she serve to the guests. The view....you can not have a better one from the window of my room I could see Forte dei Marmi and the Curch of San Pietro. Dining in the terrace is an... More
