Lovely friendly relaxed atmosphere and charming staff. Bathroom a little shabby so not really 4*. Last week in the season so it was very quiet but the designer shops had sales but still exorbitant as one would expect. Do not eat at La Mola its awful food and shockingly overpriced. For a value for money stay in what is unquestionably the world's most fashionable spot in late July and August, the Hotel Luci Di La Muntagna cannot be beaten. Go for a complete package as the restaurant cooks up fine food. Be sure to ask for a quiet room as there are some noisy air conditioning units around! more

maybe I beleived too much of the hype about porto cervo but this hotel is not the kind of 4 star experience you would expect anywhere else in the world. The rooms are small, no doubles, just two beds pushed together and bathrooms do not have baths. Walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours .. and smell them... more

just got back from this great hotel. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, especially Anita at the pool. The hotel has some lovely little corners to sit, a lovely atmosphere and a nice quiet pool.
