No thrills. Rooms are pretty basic. But it's clean and comfortable- and the breakfast is perfectly fine (as Italian breakfasts go). Free fast wifi too. We stayed for one night- walking distance to old town for nice cafés and restaurants. Not a holiday hotel. But ok for business stopovers.

A clean comfortable hotel within walking distance of the charming Pordenone area. A Continental breakfast is offered and internet is also free. There is a pizzeria just outside the hotel grounds for dinner or lunch - but there are many cafes and restaurants in the town area as well. The staff are friendly and helpful and the stay was pleasant.

There's nothing fancy about the Hotel Montereale, but it makes up in cleanliness and convenience what it lacks in luxury amenities. For a three-night stay during the city's terrific silent film festival, we we landed a studio flat complete with kitchenette for a mere 80 Euros, making this by far the most economical of our stays in the region. We... More

I stayed here with my parents while visiting my father's relatives in the Pordenone area. It's very clean and had an air conditioning unit that actually pushed out cold air, unlike some of the other hotels I've experienced in Italy (where the 'cold air' wasn't really cold). We had no trouble parking our car onsite and the hotel was close... More

We needed a place to stay on a recent trip to Aviano Air Base. The base is 10-15 minutes drive. The room was clean and had plenty of space. For the price I wasn't expecting all we got! The room was furnished with a kitchenette (small stove, pans, silverware, etc) and refrigerator but no microwave or coffee pot. (Coffee is... More

Very good value for business hotel in Pordenone - they deserve those 3*. Breakfast is a bit poor, but they are replacing this by their enthusiasm. Next time I would choose this one also. From old city centre is just 10 minutes easy walk

I needed to be in Pordenone for personal matters and just picked a hotel. As usual when I travel alone, I booked a double room for single use. It was quite a surprise to get a little apartment upon arrival: lots of cupboards, a kitchenette, clean bathroom, which BTW has also been equipped to host people with physical problems (which... We loved the Montereale Inn! Especially a couple of the clerks. They were very accommodating. We stayed 5 times throughout our 5 weeks in Italy. Clean rooms. One of them could sleep 5 which was nice as we traveled as a family. The kebab restaurant in front was awesome. Free bike rental was awesome so we rode bikes downtown on... More

Just back from a 5-day stay in Pordenone, Italy, at the Hotel Montereale. The hotel was very near the central city on a busy main thoroughfare. The hotel was clean and renovated with flat screens in some rooms. All rooms had a safe, refrigerator and plenty of storage space. Our room had both a king and single bed. Breakfast was... More

This family-run small hotel is truly lovely and a great value. Its location is just outside the downtown area on a beautiful street. It was close enough to the train station that we were able to walk there (15 minutes). Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, with a small refrigerator, TV, hairdryer and safe. The breakfast was probably... More
