The hotel itself gives you the real taste of European Italian styles, not a fancy hotel if that's what you're looking for. But the staff is well traine, very professional, and polite. The restaurant is a little pricey but well worth it the price. The location is a plus it's right south of Germany very close to the northern part... More

Despite the location close to Aviano US base there is a good sound proofing, so I could sleep very well. Instead, the single rooms were extremely small. For me was not such a problem, but my colleague who is 1,8 m heigh had some difficulties to circulate in the room and to fit in the bed...and the price was too... More

Don't see a separate entry for the restaurant, so combining the review for both. As for the hotel, the grounds are spectacular, but the rooms are quite rustic. You also have to drag your bags through their gravel to get to the lobby, so they definitely need to do some paving. I couldn't figure out how to use the AC... More

This hotel is actually just outside of Aviano, Italy. Although we have been to Aviano numerous times over the years, we did not know about it. It's a beautiful villa, dating from the 1500's. There is an 18 hole golf course which is beautiful with the mountains as a backdrop and it was in very good shape. I'd recommend a... More

Carpets are stained and worn; rooms hot; breakfast really bad, especially the coffee. Every other place we stayed in Italy was great, so this was a huge disappointment. Hotel should spend some money on maintenance, air conditioning, and breakfast. Staff was friendly, room clean, and dinners exceptional. Wouldn't recommend to a friend unless changes are made.

The rooms are like ovens. The air conditioning doesn't work or, and I really suspect this is the case, has been turned off deliberately in order to save money. The owner, Brescagn [---], is dismissive, arrogant, offensive and rude.

A very tranquil location overlooking a golf course. This hotel is in Aviano, not Pordenone. The room was decent, but very hot...over 90 degrees, unsleepable. The air conditioner did nothing to cool it down. You really need to keep the door open all night to get some cool air but other visitors walk by and look in at you. We... More

My husband, myself and our 2 year old stayed one night back in September 2008. Our original hotel was overbooked and we were given a list to chose from in the area. Most of the surrounding hotels were booked. Therefore our stay here wasn't really a choice. We arrived very late at night and were in a frustrated state due... More

Away from the center of town but not too far to drive to Aviano. An hour and a half from Venus. A must if in Aviano. Beautiful views and quaint setting. Restaurant attached is beautiful with outdoor seating. Rooms are meticulously clean and roomy especially for Europe. Very close to three wineries. Great breakfast buffet with laid back atmosphere.
