After having stayed at Villa Cappugi we did not feel like going home yet so booked two additional nights at Villa Georgia. A nice small hotel situated in the hills outside Pistoia, so a car is a conditio sine qua non. In arrival we received the pleasant news that we were granted an upgrade. We installed ourselves in one of... More

Stayed for 10 days in August. Staff were all very friendly and very helpful. Room was in perfect condition but not perfectly clean. Hotel is at a busy road which is some times less pleasant when you are at the pool side. What bothered us the most is that non residential restaurant visitors were better served then the customers with... More

Stayed for 4 days in June. The staff were all fantastic and very eager to help. Sometimes a little haphazard eg receptionists running the small bar but not knowing how to make a gin and tonic! The superior room was very pleasant although could have benefitted from a set of drawers for clothes as 4 hangers each was all that... More

We had one night here and it was just what we wanted. The hotel is located on a busy (ish) road however you don't really hear the traffic. We did during the afternoon when our windows where open however we shut them at night. Hotel is well appointed and good rooms, clean and possibly on the more simple side however... More

The manager upgraded my room; However, the all place look very well kept and the staff is very professional. Location is nice and they have a large parking area; not so common around Italy. Very nice view on the Tuscany hills from the room and the breakfast area. Anna at the restaurant was very helpful explaining the menu and recommending... More

Villa Giorgia is without a doubt a beautiful hotel, ideally located to visit other cities in the Tuscany region. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they really go the extra mile to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The kitchen is overall rather well, for the guests with half-pension there are 3 courses (two choices for every course).... More

This Hotel offers great views over the hills and valleys of the area. The building is modern, the rooms tastefully furnished and very clean. And the aircon works!!! Had a truly wonderful and relaxing stay. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The accommodation was fantastic and the food GREAT!! Will definitely return here again. A must... More

We've stayed in Villa Giorgia for a week for our honeymoon as our base in Tuscany. The hotel is located near Pistoia close to the exit of the A11 autostrade, about 30 mins drive from Florence (depends on your driving style, Italians can probably get there faster). The Hotel itself is on the SS64 road that is connected via another... More

We arrived after 1 day traveling by car, not really well dressed to go in in this hotel! They have been kind and welcoming, made a discount on the rate because was late. Allowed us to go to the swimming pool (overfacing Tuscan Hills) even if it was closed. Booked a table at thei restaurant, I ate a fantastic "pappa... More

My husband and I chose this hotel for it's location between Lucca and Florence. Particularly as we didn't want to drive into the Florence rather we wanted to easily take the train in. (Although getting to the train station from the hotel proved to be a little more challenging than we thought it would be.) The hotel was newly remodeled... More
