We stayed in Orvieto one night and this hotel was perfect.. Very clean with rooms facing the main road - big shutters....so adorable....walked to Bell Tower ( a must to climb). Wifi worked great..breakfast included cute room....continental but clean and complete....

The Orvieto city shuttle bus from the funicular drops you off in Piazza Republica just two doors away from the hotel. (you don't have to buy a separate ticket, the funicular ticket covers this. Don't get on the bus going to the Duomo, thats a different part of town.) We had a room for three, and it was generously size... More

We enjoyed our stay in orvieto and the owner was helpful recommending restaurants The rooms are a good size and nice and quiet. Unfortunately the air con did mot work half the time which was a problem in the hot weather Brekky is supplied but uninspiring, probably better to go out to street front cafe

Welcoming professional and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Clean and comfortable room. Great location walkable to all sights in Orvieto. Free WiFi. Bathroom lighting great, a plus for women putting on makeup. Room in front was quiet unless you're a hear the pin drop sleeper.

We booked this on line and were very pleased......the rooms were spacious and very clean.....wifi not so good......we were able to access the internet, but it was not secure. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was awesome!!!!! I knew nothing about this place before I arrived, but would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting this lovely city.... the worst hotel with the worst experience in Italy, the rude director was so called Giuliano Portarena. This guy was calling police for a very little issue of their guests who stayed three nights, and this director was very aggressive and rude, they do not really speak in English, and they were aloud and noising during the night, and this... I really enjoyed this hotel. The room was cosy and comfortable. The facilities were good and the breakfast was satisfying. Everything you want to see is a short walk away down a picturesque street. The only difficulty I had was that the staff don't know a lot of English but it was easy enough to work around this. I was... More

I spent 2 nights here on my honeymoon with my wife. I'm not sure if its the amazing wine, absurd vistas or friendly people talking but this hotel was lovely! Charming staff, great breakfast, close to everything and nice room. I will come back.

This is my second time at Filippeschi Hotel, this time just for a night. I confirm my good opinion of that place, especially for the position of the hotel: you can walk and in 5 minutes you arrive at the "Duomo", the Cathedral, or in the main street with many local restaurants. The staff is kind and the breakfast is... More

Seeking a quad room in a prime location was tough. This hotel worked beautifully if you don't mind one daughter on a rollaway bed. Conveniently located, this hotel provided a needed respite from climbing and descending the many hills. The towel warmers also provided a much needed quick dryer for the familiy essentials. Ask for a room facing the Via... More
