My friend and I stayed in Hotel Orvieto for 1 night last week. The room we were allocated was medium size. The carpet needs a good clean up and also the walls need painting. Since railway lines are close by, we had to keep windows closed. We tried to switch on the ac, but simply did'nt work. Went down to... More

What a lovely hotel in the center of Orvieto. Accommodations were outstanding, owners were welcoming and inviting. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to most things as well as some great restaurants.

Stayed here for 2 nights in May. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Room was ok - the Italian version of a Motel 6. Small, clean but smelled a bit closed up. Sort of a terrace … more like a creepy walkway that connects to other rooms with a view of both beautiful vineyards AND the train tracks. TrainS …... More

You hardly hear the train noise as we never pay attention to... More

This was a clean and nice hotel and in a good location. The breakfast the next morning was good. The bed was comfortable and everything was good for the price. The train is a little loud but they don't run all night so it was a good fit.

Hotel Orvieto is average at best. The receptionist did not speak any English which made things interesting. The beds were uncomfortable and the train tracks behind the hotel were busy and loud! The hotel is extremely convenient to the interstate which is why we stayed. We were heading from Rome to Siena and it was a halfway stop. We ate... More

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Orvieto. The little old man (owner??) who checked us in was very nice, although he knew very little English. He provided us with 4 internet passwords for our room, which was above and beyond what we expected. They also gave us a coupon for dinner at a nearby restaurant, which we enjoyed. The rooms... More

I stayed here on a BUSINESS trip this past December 2011. I must say i was SORELY DISAPPOINTED in this hotel. NO "real breakfast" (sliced cold cuts and few COLD CROISSANTS!!! I was also taken back by the fact we had to walk a block to the restaurant that was the hotel's keep. The food was ok.... the staff was... More
