The only thing going for this hotel is the location- in the historical center of Orvieto, within walking distance of all the sights and restaurants. Everything else about this hotel, from check-in to check-out was disappointing. The hotel advertises free parking, but spaces must be reserved at the time of booking. Of course, they do not tell you that. The... More

My husband, granddaughter and I spent three nights at Hotel Aquila Bianca in beautiful Orvieto. We had never visited Orvieto and were so happy we did. It's such a lovely, warm, happy town and we were there when Pentecost was being celebrated. All the banners, flowers and lamp posts were decorated in honor of the feast day. Our initial impression... L'aquila bianca is a standard hotel in the centre of beautifil Orvieto. All the necessary things are available. Nothing more then that. We have chosen for the superior room: in fact it was a three-person-room. Yes, you have more space, but the 'couch' is the extra bed. The room and the bathroom are very clean. Bed is a bit too... had to disappoint 21 yr old first time traveller that not all hotels were as good as this. Lovely clean room with parquetry floors & white bed covers & an old shuttered window facing on to the street. Great breakfast and served in a most beautifully decorated room.

This hotel is nicely located and is a perfectly fine place to stay. The staff was nice and parked our car for us and also made some restaurant recommendations. The hotel itself is definitely older and in need of some updates, but not bad. They have obviously done *some* updating already. It's just an average hotel. Nothing really wrong, but... More

No complaints about the hotel, was well situated and comfortable. Room was clean and had plenty of space. Wifi worked well. The parking was a little pricier than I was expecting, but it was very central.

This is your typical Italian hotel, well situated and slightly faded along the edges but slightly above average in general. The room is a bit tight and the bathroom small, but clean and updated. Service was good and helpful, especially wrt to parking. The parking entry is very tight, and they will help you move your car in and out.

Very courteous and efficient staff, small but modern and clean room, right at the heart of the action of one of the more lively winter festivals anywhere in Europe. Hotel rooms are very scarce due to surge in both tourists and musicians, and car parking in center-forgeddaboutit ! Unless that is you tell Aquila Bianca first and they squeeze you... More

First off, the good parts: The hotel is clean and the staff (especially Roberta) were very helpful. The breakfast was top notch, with fresh breads and pastries from a local store and excellent fruit. The room was very pleasant in decor and the bathroom was very nice. The bed was adequate -- with the usual Italian concrete pillows. But the... More
