Pietra Campana is a wonderful place to stay for 3 days or 3 weeks. The buildings are beautiful, in a gorgeous setting, and with breathtaking views. Our room was spacious and nicely equipped - full kitchen and very comfortable. The pool is wonderful and relaxing after hours of hiking around the Umbrian countryside. Martin & Frederica are great hosts and... More

We just loved Pietra Campana and the only regret I had was that we stayed for only one night! We were in the top floor apartment which had the most amazing view of the village of Orvieto. The apartment was large, exquisitely furnished and well equipped, and included a fridge and fireplace. The villa itself was stunning, with gorgeous surrounding... More

This is truly a hotel with a difference. Overlooking the hilltop town of Orvieto, Pietra Campano offers the idyllic combination of peace and tranquillity yet being within easy driving distance of the city. Although our apartment wasn't in the main house, it was very comfortable and had a special charm. As for the hosts, they couldn't have made us more... More

We loved our 2 night stay at Pietra Campana. It's definitely a special & unique property...natural surroundings with beautiful scenic views; picturesque grounds and spacious, private accommodations. Our suite was lovely and comfortable; we enjoyed the complimentary toiletries and artisan soap in the bathroom. Frederica & Martin were lovely hosts. The breakfast area is stunning & really a feast for... More

We stayed here in early November on the top floor that consists of a good size bedroom and large living room complete with a small fridge and a fireplace. The view towards Orvieto is just spectacular and I spent some time every morning taking photos from our bedroom. This incredible place was beautifully renovated a few years ago and is... More

We wanted to leave our villa one day early to avoid driving to Rome all in one day. I googled Orvieto and came across this wonderful spot. Thanks to Trip Advisor, I felt comfortable booking one night sight unseen!! Wow, how serendipitous. We contacted Frederica directly who discounted our room. Following our GPS, we were taken to a different hotel... More

Thoroughly recommend staying at Pietra Campana, you will love everything about it, from the excellent accommodation to the wonderful breakfasts, you will not want to leave. Martin and Federica will make sure you are very well looked after. Federica is such a darling, she is just like a good friend. Can't wait to return.

We stayed one night at the end of our two weeks touring around Italy but we saved the best for last! Had we known how special this place is we'd have stayed here at the start of our tour too. Immaculate, spacious suite with stunning views of Orvieto in beautiful grounds. Federica is an artist and fresco restorer and this... More

Pietra Campana is very special place. Federica and Martin are wonderful hosts. We were fortunate enough to stay for 2 nights in June. We had a large apartment with an incredible view of Orvieto. It was well furnished, exceptionally clean, and reasonably priced. Breakfast was delicious and included numerous homemade items. Thank you Federica! The location was perfect for our... More

A one night stay with family, it was the perfect start to our holiday. Beautifully and thoughtfully presented, we enjoyed a spacious apartment with stunning views of Orvieto. The breakfast was sensational, with an abundance of home made organic bread, fruit, preserves and cakes! My children loved everything! Federica e Martin were friendly and helpful hosts with lots of local... More
