This Agriturismo (farm stay B&B) is one of the loveliest we've ever had the pleasure of staying at. It's a great base for exploring many of the treasures of Umbria and with a lot less tourists. We enjoyed exploring Orvieto, Lago Bolsena, Civita di Bagnoregio, Todi and Spoleto while we were there and then returning to this quiet hillside spot... More

After a fast paced week of events at a wedding in Tuscany, we settled into the calm and welcoming environment at Locanda Rosati. Our host, GiamPiero and his staff were on top of our every need. From the accommodations to the food, it was wonderful from start to finish. Met wonderful fellow travelers in a family friendly atmosphere. Our 2... More

Oh my G-d! This is a review that is such a pleasure to write! My wife and I stayed at Locanda Rosati during a recent Italy vacation. This place should not be missed, if your going to Orvieto. First, this is a gorgeous family run property that has everything, but most of all the experience of staying there is soooo... More

We just returned from a 3 week visit to Italy. The Locanda Rosati was our favorite experience of the 6 places we stayed. It's not fancy or glitzy but has rustic charm in a beautiful setting that's convenient for many day trips. Giampiero and his staff do everything possible to ensure your stay is memorable. He really treats you as... More

We are just home from our fourth stay at Locanda Rosati, our favorite stop in Umbria, and every time we leave we vow to return. Our hosts, GiamPiero and Paolo and Christiana, the friendly staff, the beautiful grounds, the food .... everything is just as we hope when we travel to Umbria, the Green Heart of Italy. The family style... More

Locanda Rosati is a beautifully furnished and expertly run agriturismo near Orvieto. The Rosati family are gracious hosts. The breakfasts and especially the dinners are memorable. The lovely, well-appointed rooms and public spaces display exceptional wood carving from the Orvieto workshop of the Michaelangeli family. Orvieto itself, with its charm, historical and artistic attractions, is a 15-minute drive from Locanda... More

Stayed as part of group of 9 friends and we had a great time. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Spacious well kitted-out rooms and comfortable bed with good linen. We had an excellent dinner with the owners and other guests at a big table. The food is made up of high quality ingredients which have not been messed around --... More

We stayed here 4 nights and it was just what we needed in the middle of a busy European vacation. It is located in the middle of nowhere, several miles from Orvieto. There would be no way to get here without your own car, and there is no opportunity to go for a walk nearby as the road is narrow,... More

Ask for a room with two windows, you can't go wrong. The only drawback of Locanda Rossi is the distance from Orvieto, which is located about 7 KM. And you can't walk to town as there are no sidewalks. It's about EU 22 each way to the town of Orvieto. It is peaceful and quiet. We had breakfast and dinner... More

This agritourismo pensione was a wonderful place to attend a course. The setting was peaceful even though is is by a busy road. The owner is a delightful person who organised a trip to a winery, and was very much a presence ensuring all was well with the group. The rooms are simple but very clean. The food was tasty... More
