• Giampierro and his sister, Alba and brother-in-law, Paulo extended a warm welcome to our party which included 5 adults in one family and 2 adults in another family: so we occupied 4 rooms for 4 nights. The stone house is located high above Orvieto. The grounds and interior are carefully maintained. There are little animals carved from wood to... More

After a two week long cruise in the Mediterranean and before visiting Roma this was the best place to "flavor country side Italy. Giampiero and his family are superb hosts nothing is too much to please their customers. The accomodation is perfect but more importantly is the great diners and breakfasts served at their table, simple home cooking food and... More

The spectacular beauty and comfort of this Agriturismo is matched only by the charming and welcoming hospitality of our host Giampiero. His encyclopedic knowledge of the entire region unlocks every adventure and solves any problem. Paolo the cook has authentic regional cuisine which is largely sourced from their own farm. It makes your mythic stay here dream like. The traditional... More

Don't hesitate to "do " Orvieto and to stay a little ways from the town(!) Wonderful place with amazing host and staff made us feel like we were the most important guests in the world;) The food was awesome, the wine, the limoncello ... The pleasant surroundings!!!

What a wonderful experience. Many people have made the same comments I would have. But it was such fun actually staying in one of the old stone farmhouses you see so much in Italy. Giampiero was so very helpful and even gave us a list of places to see in Sicily where we were going when left there. The food... More

Definitely enjoyed our 3 night stay at Locanda Rosati. Our hosts were wonderful, entertaining and helpful in suggesting places to see and routes to take to get there. The Inn itself is very pretty both inside and out, with ivy covered walkways outside. The dinning area which is a converted cellar with its stone walls is very inviting with a... More

We had the unfortunate luck of spending the night here on one of the stormiest days in September. We didn't get to roam the grounds except for a few minutes between rain downpouts. Too bad. What stood out for us, however, rings true with the other reviews. One has the feeling of being welcomed into someone's home, as it indeed... More

We did not have reservations and loved it so much that we stayed 2 nights. We were charmed by the welcoming proprietors and inviting vignettes to enjoy their large beautiful property. The ivy covered walkway opens up to a large stone farmhouse and inside all is modern, spacious and immaculately clean. Although it’s located on the main highway, there was... More

Several years ago we stayed at Locanda Rosati. I was very happy when our plans took us back to this region. The Locanda is a family-run operation featuring Giampiero in the office and tending to his guests, sister Alba helping out everywhere, and her husband Paolo doing wonders in the kitchen. The property is restful and well maintained. The rooms... More

We had arrived from Dubai at Fiumicino in the early afternoon and drove the pre-booked car to Locanda Rosati. We knew we would be arriving late so arranged to have dinner at the the Locanda. What a great decision. We had such a delicious meal and the company was so good that we changed our plans and ate in for... More
