I visited this gem for the first time in August 2014. Parts of this caste date to the 10th century! If being immersed in history is not enough, the view from our room was simply stunning. As if the history and stunning beauty is not enough, dinner was a gastronomic experience in itself. You are seated in a beautiful room... More

We stayed at Titignano castle for a friends wedding. The drive up to the castle is scenic and breathtaking (its about 25 min from the main town in Orvieto). The rooms are comfortable and charming but definitely simple and without modern amenities (but who needs that in the Italian countryside anyway!) The food was exceptional! The property is beautiful to... More

This was a wedding in 2011, which people still talk about today, as magical, ethereal ,full of love, romance and great party! 110 guests, some Italian some English, and other nationalities. It was the perfect day, the church was fantastic, food divine, staff helpful. Even the weather was perfect. I could go on........,,,,,,,,,

This is a beautiful agriturismo secluded high in the Umbrian hills. As others have stated, the views from this village-turned-hotel are simply spectacular, looking out over the vineyards toward the lake. Our family of four (college-age children) stayed in a pair of second floor rooms that could have easily accomodated 8 people. The bedrooms were simply appointed but comfortable, and... More

In 2007 we celebrated our wedding in the little village of Titignano. Together with 70 friends we travelled from the Netherlands to this secluded little gem in the Umbrian countryside. The location is old, but magnificent, and with a beautiful view over Lago di Corbara. The food and arrangements for the wedding were just perfect. And the staff was amazing,... More

We stayed 3 nights at this wonderful old village complex. We used it as a centre for walking in this part of Umbria and were pleasantly surprised that the hotel provided their own variety of walks direct from the hotel. They gave us a map and the walks themselves were signposted from start to finish. As the walk in our... More

It's an old setting surrounded by vineyards and the amazing Italian scenery. What can you say - it's really beautiful! Food is good, wine is local, rooms are big and comfortable. What a wonderful place for a romantic getaway and/or inspiring solitude.

Quite remote, but worth the trip for the unique views (even nicer than Toscany). (Too) long dinners, orgies of local food & wine. Great value for the half-board price. Little crowded during "Ferragosto". Only one pool is not enough during high season. We recommend day trips to Orvieto, Perugia and Todi.
