My husband and I spend 3 nights at beautiful Misia. Giorgio was a wonderful host, warm and welcoming. He was always available with information and gave us very good dinner recommendations in Orvieto. We stayed in suite 8 and it was great, comfortable bed and the room had all the amenities you could want. Misia looks rustic from the outside... More

We arrived in Rocca Ripesena after driving up from Rome to spend a short stay in Orvieto and we were met by Giorgio, the very friendly and hospitable co-owner of Misia. After a very welcome coffee and a discussion about places to visit, eat, local wines, and other very useful information, we were shown our room, and we were really... More

We spend 4 days at Misia and really liked it! Staying at suite number 4, you can overlook the countryside, which is Impressive. The place at Misia is great, cosy and very special, you see and feel the love for details everywhere. The rooms are furnished in a modern style and Set they are 'gemütlich' with a great atmosphere. The... More

We have recently returned from a European trip which included a 2 night stay at Misia Resort, Orvieto. Elena was so welcoming, friendly and helpful to our party of 4. The rooms are to die for. Brilliantly appointed and all of Misia is a beautiful blend of the old and the new. Superb quality of fixtures, fittings, towels and special... More

We spent three nights here and enjoyed them very much. This is a lovely property with large, modern, well appointed rooms. And I would like to say that Misia had the best hair dryer in all of Italy! I really appreciated that after all the weakly blowing ones I had previously encountered. The bed was very comfortable and there was... More

Lots to like about the Misia Resort. The owners could not be more helpful or accommodating, the rooms are modern, clean, and incredibly quiet. Views are spectacular. Some improvements would be welcome. More lights in the room, eggs (even boiled) for breakfast, better choice of cereals. We used it as a base to visit the hill towns of Umbria. Worked... More

Georgio and his family have done a wonderful job with this hotel. The exterior is rustic but the interiors are very modern. They have provided exquisite linens in the spacious bedrooms and baths. The place is very clean. Georgio greeted us on our arrival with glasses of white wine. Our suite was across the drive from the office (#4) and... More

We found Misia a wonderfully run villa hotel nestled in the shadow of a large volcanic tufa rock (Rocca Ripesena). Stone steps and a path lead to a garden on top of the rock with panoramic views of Orvieto and the surrounding countryside. While the outside of Misia looks delightfully rustic, the rooms have all the modern amenities - air-conditioning... More

On our recent trip to Italy, we were lucky enough to stay at Misia for 3 days from September 3rd through the 6th. While the resort is a good 20-minute (adventurous, yet manageable) drive to Orvieto proper, it is well worth the trip.. The accommodations are modern and extremely comfortable. We stayed in Suite 8, which was very spacious and... More

This hotel is wonderful in every way. It is spotless with all the modern touches yet feels like a centuries old home. We stayed in suite 8, which was fantastic. The hospitality is warm and inviting, the breakfast room lovely, really every touch here is thought out and done really well. A perfect place to stay to explore this part... More
