At Cioccoleta everything was very good. The place, easily attainable by a secondary road and 5 min far from Orvieto by the car, is in the green countryside; the farmhouse is a big and beautiful structure, very warm inside by the choice of the furnishings and very fine details. The owner was very kind and she liked speaking with us... More

What a lovely, beautifully appointed B & B. The rooms were well kept with a beautiful view from every window. Angela was a helpful, sweet, intelligent and hardworking hostess. The breakfasts were homemade and delicious. Great location. Don't let the entry road fool you- this place is a gem!!

We had such a lovely time at Agriturismo Cioccoleta. The warm and gracious hospitality of our hostess Angela made it very special. She set out a beautiful breakfast each morning with the most delicious baked goods - we were there three nights and each morning brought something new and tasty to the offerings. Fresh cappuccino and a picturesque view completed... More

I loved Agriturismo Cioccoleta. Our Hostess, Angela was very kind and hospitable. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with a large en-suite bathroom and a beautiful view out of our window. It is however, Italy, so the beds are hard and pillows flat. I still slept well. The rooms are upstairs in a beautiful stone farmhouse. Angela makes and... More

Wonderful hospitality in a lovely bed and breakfast! We had a room with a private balcony with a gorgeous view of the countryside. We were there only one night but wished we had planned for more. Be sure to explore the area around the farmhouse too.

Angela was such a gracious, hospitable hostess. She provided us with excellent recommendations for exploring Orvieto, as our time was limited and we wished to maximize it. Her restaurant suggestions were fantastic, and she was immensely patient with my attempts to speak Italian. Angela speaks English beautifully, but I wished to try to speak her native language. Our room had... More

If you are spending any time in central Italy, you definitely should stay in an Agriturismo. You see “real Italy”, talk to real Italians, see folks working on their vineyards, olive trees, apple orchards or whatever, get out of the tourist rush, and just experience the hill country. Agriturismo Cioccoletto in particular is an amazing place. You stay in luxurious... More

This charming Agriturismo is conveniently located just a few minutes from Orvieto and is within easy reach by car to other fascinating hill towns, like Montepulciano and Pienza. By day or night the view of Orvieto from our balcony room was mesmerizing! The hospitality provided by Angela and her family made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The complementary breakfast... My wife, daughter and I stayed for two nights (next time more!) at Agriturismo Cioccoleta during June, 2014. Not only were the accommodations comfortable, peaceful and picturesque but the attention and cordiality of the owner (Angela) was so highly appreciated. We three totally enjoyed our stay. Breakfasts were completely "country buffet" (Italian style) and the comfort of being in the... More
