Wonderful hospitality in a lovely bed and breakfast! We had a room with a private balcony with a gorgeous view of the countryside. We were there only one night but wished we had planned for more. Be sure to explore the area around the farmhouse too.

Agriturismo Cioccoleta is so wonderfull. The beautiful nature touched our hearts! Angela and her family are so warm. We did not have a car,but we enjoyed the countryside. Fantastic Landscape, bird's singing, and little cats ,etc.. The time we spent at Cioccoleta, was so wonderfull !

Angela was such a gracious, hospitable hostess. She provided us with excellent recommendations for exploring Orvieto, as our time was limited and we wished to maximize it. Her restaurant suggestions were fantastic, and she was immensely patient with my attempts to speak Italian. Angela speaks English beautifully, but I wished to try to speak her native language. Our room had... More

If you are spending any time in central Italy, you definitely should stay in an Agriturismo. You see “real Italy”, talk to real Italians, see folks working on their vineyards, olive trees, apple orchards or whatever, get out of the tourist rush, and just experience the hill country. Agriturismo Cioccoletto in particular is an amazing place. You stay in luxurious... More

This charming Agriturismo is conveniently located just a few minutes from Orvieto and is within easy reach by car to other fascinating hill towns, like Montepulciano and Pienza. By day or night the view of Orvieto from our balcony room was mesmerizing! The hospitality provided by Angela and her family made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The complementary breakfast... My wife, daughter and I stayed for two nights (next time more!) at Agriturismo Cioccoleta during June, 2014. Not only were the accommodations comfortable, peaceful and picturesque but the attention and cordiality of the owner (Angela) was so highly appreciated. We three totally enjoyed our stay. Breakfasts were completely "country buffet" (Italian style) and the comfort of being in the... More

Angela made us feel welcome and special. They have a beautiful farm with olive trees and vineyard right outside our window. We felt free to wander and there are even Etruscan ruins on the property. Wonderful breakfasts and great advice about where to go, based on your interests. Would go back in a minute.

My husband and I traveled with two friends to Italy in June 2014. We visited Rome, Florence, Cinque Terra (Monterossa), Siena, and Orvieto. All of our time in Italy was wonderful! When we first arrived there was so much to take in: the taxi drivers, the driving in general, the noise, the food, and the fact that at every single... More

We had a really nice room with a stunning view of the city of Orvieto. The place is quiet and located in the middle of vineyards. The most impressive thing is the hospitality and friendliness of the owners who run the place with love and dedication and really make you feel at home. Breakfast with home-made jams and cakes. Highly... More

Everything you could ever want for a true Agriturismo stay. Angela & Alesandro have done an excellent job creating Cioccoleta. We stayed for a few days at the end of April beginning of May. Their recommendations for restaurants were excellent. Even advising us that May 1 was the day of the "Italian Ice Cream" competition in Orvieto. The farm is... More
