What got us originally was the 'park setting and access to the town without being IN it. Casa Selita is so much more! First a warm welcome by Signore, ample parking (car is highly recommended for this site) and delivery to a lovely private apartment with its own small terrace looking over the garden below. It was almost enough to... More

I was so lucky to have booked two nights at Casa Selita during my recent (and first!) trip to Europe. The place truly is as good as all of its wonderful reviews, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! In preparation for the trip, Selita emailed very specific and easy to follow directions for how to get to... More

Do you enjoy idyllic Tuscan hilltop towns? Homemade bread and olive oil at breakfast? A knowledgeable b&b owner who is passionate about their town, food, wine and culture? A walk through your own personal olive grove and Etruscan cave network to the local town? If the answer to these questions is yes then casa selita is the place for you.... More

What a truly wonderful experience we had at this B&B. We only had one night but had I known how truly pleasant it was I would have scheduled more time there. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our room, the setting, the breakfast and the location. We had a rental car and you can't drive in... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. Selita and Ennio were fantastic hosts, always very helpful and happy to recommend places to eat and things to see. Selita even arranged for us to visit a local Winery when the one we had booked was cancelled and Ennio was happy to take us there (for a small fee) and bring us back... More

We spent three nights in this charming B&B, and although a bit tricky locating it at first, found it to be so convenient to walk up to the elevator to the old town. We did not meet Selita, but Ennio was very friendly and provided great suggestions for visiting all the important historical spots. Orvieto is a very interesting old... More

Selita is a gifted host and provides a lot of helpful information and care. Her B&B is charming, intimate and quiet. The rooms are small but well appointed and provided us with good nights of sleep. Breakfast was simple and fresh. There is a 15-minute walk to the old town of Orvieto through a lovely field pathway. This is a... More

Great breakfast, every morning had quite the spread. Homemade jams, bread, pastries, olive oil. Good coffee and delicious yogurt and granola. We left on a Sunday and the buses don't run. For a small price she gave us a ride to the train station. And luckily she did because when we got there our train to Rome was cancelled. She... More

We stayed one night in this wonderful B&B. It is located just below the old city of Orvieto, within easy walking distance. This is a charming property, and Selita was a great hostess. She recommended great restaurants and served a very good breakfast. The B&B is beautiful stone farmhouse, and our room was cool and clean, snug but comfortable for... More

What an absolutely lovely country inn. We stayed there enroute to Cinque Terre and that night was among our most memorable in Italy. The rooms are charming and comfortable, and the breakfast was lovely. The surrounding countryside is lush and beautiful, and best of all, just a short walk up to Orvieto, which is magical.
