I would endorse every positive comment made by reviewers. If you have a car (and especially if you are visiting the Moro River War Cemetery) it is a very convenient place to choose. Massimo is am informative and hospitable host who really wants to help his guests enjoy their stay. A GPS helps in finding the turning to Costaginestre, and... More

We had a wonderful 5 day stay at Costagenestre while visiting the Moro Cdn War Cemetery. Massimo is a wonderful host providing a fine breakfast every morning with fresh baking, home-made jam and superb espresso. Beautiful view of the Adriatic and access to a BBQ. The cottage is charmingly decorated, rustic and very comfortable. Bathroom and shower is first class.... More

We stayed two nights at Costaginestra B&B while visiting the Canadian War Cemetery which is just minutes down the road, and Ortona. The cottage was tastefully decorated with a local flavour that gave us a feel for the sparkling Adriatic and the people who live there. The cottage was clean and spacious and I noticed most the fresh fragrance of... More

As part of our drive up the east coast of Italy, we decided to stop at Ortona and visit the Canadian War Cemetery. As usual, we checked out Tripadvisor and, with only one day’s notice, we were able to book a night at Costaginestre. It was a great decision. We enjoyed the town of Ortona with its views, good food... More

We spent 4 nights in Costaginestra B&B in August 2012. During our 16 day Italy tour (Abruzzo-Umbria-South Toscana) this was the best accommodation we have found. The cottage is nice and clean, the garden is lovely, and the view is spectacularly wonderful. Massimo, the owner, who probably waited for hours at the house for our arrival, was really kind and... My husband and I recently spent one night at the Costaginestre. There are many things to recommend the B And B, not least the breathtaking view of the Adriatic Sea and the food--everything homemade by the owners. But for us, the true beauty of the Costaginestre lies in its proprietors: Massimo and Donatella. When my husband and I were leaving... More

Costaginestre is a beauiful little hide away spot in Ortona. Always clean, lovely decorated rooms, a breathtaking view to the ocean and a small but truly beautiful garden makes you want to stay there forever. The owner of Costaginestre was always there for us when we needed something, even if it was advice. What more can we expect? There was... More
