This hotel was very clean, had large rooms, well stocked toiletries in bathrooms, and a good breakfast with lots of options. Also conveniently located is a grocery store around the back of the hotel. The only drawback is its location. It's definitely not close to downtown Novara. If you're without a car it's not very convenient, but only €10 will... More

This was my first stay at this hotel, it has great rooms large comfortable and well furnished large bathroom and good shower with a plentiful supply of soaps etc., the jewel in this crown is the restaurant we had a great dinner with an exciting menu. By Italian standards the breakfast buffet is outstanding.

Great hotel, always clean and very quiet area. It is pinched in between residential apartments and condominiums, however Novara is a very quiet city. There was a groups of Gymnast and their coaches in the hotel that weekend for a competition, but apart form the busy evening at the Restaurant, the rest was fine. The restaurant is also decent, better... More

The hotel is clean, accessible by taxi. A bit far from the bus and train station. Very quiet environment. Staff are friendly and most of them speak English. Carrefour is just behind the hotel where you can buy an kind of supplies you may need. The best of La Bussola hotel is its restaurant with great Italian food and amazing coffee.Don't... More

I was on a 24 hour trip to Novara to meet a new supplier and they booked the hotel. Room was nice, night was quiet. I had dinner, which was fine, but quite expensive for what I am used to in the UK. Hotel price was fair. Breakfast was very extensive and starting at 06.30, that was nice early. I... More

We loved using this charming hotel as a home base for day trips to Switzerland (Lugano), Milan, Torino, Bergamo. One can even take a train to Venice and be there in 3 hours. The service is refined. Ask for a room with a balcony in warm weather.

I have stayed in this hotel a few times and I guess it's just ok! The decor in the lobby and dinning rooms is very dated with multiple clocks showing different times, multiple ornaments, flower pots etc etc.....not what you would expect from a city centre business hotel. The hotel was much too warm in the bedrooms and the dinning... More

We have been to Novara before but our 1st time at La Bussola. We were very happy with our choice and will stay again on our next visit to Novara. All the public areas have interesting ornaments and lots of clocks. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Lots of breakfast choices in very pleasant surroundings

In the lobby area and other public rooms you will see many old clocks and other antics. I stayed here for a business trip during a conference. The personal was very friendly and the room was nice and clean. The bathroom looked like fresh renovated, but was a little bit small. The breakfast was very good, including cold cuts, cheese,...
