We were so beautifully treated in this hotel. No request unanswered, with generosity: "do you need this dish without chili? here it is"; "may I show you how to light your hallway?"; "shall I copy this for you?" Over and over and over. The food was generous too, and much of it more than excellent. Our room was gorgeous, spotless... More

Norcia is not very full of hotels, so choice is limited. This particular hotel is fine for a few nights. It is clean, the staff are very good. The hotel does fill up with coach parties, and the breakfast area can get crowded. It is centrally located in the Norcia old town. The decor is a bit old, but the... More

This hotel could not be better situated, right in the heart of the town, only seconds from the main square and the main shopping street. I do not know how old the building was but it had a very old feel to it: barrel vaulting in the restaurant areas, marble floors and with appropriate decor such as tapestries and artifacts... More

We were in the annexe to the Grotto Azzurra - the Palazzo Seneca -apparently Seneca lived here for a time. There are lots of public rooms for comfortable conversation etc and, at the back of the hotel, a small garden and the breakfast room. The breakfasts were magnificent and the best I have had in Italy. The service was friendly... More

Best Customer Service: Excellent hotel location with a delicious local cuisine... Staff are welcoming & attentive. But the best is yet to come: we were there for a hike in the area & booked a taxi through hotel reception desk for transfer the next day. However the taxi was 15 minutes late. Mr. Mauro Greco, Operation Manager promptly drove us... More

Our traditionally furnished in the old building was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We ate in the Hotel restaurant where the food was delicious and the menu offered us something different every night. The staff there and at reception were efficient, helpful and charming. The hotel was very busy especially at the weekends but the staff smiled as they flew around.... More

This hotel is conveniently located in the charming town of Norcia and we will certainly return to the town again. But we probably will not stay at this accommodation. We need a steady and reliable internet service when we travel and we did not have it here, though the management was gracious and steered us to another hotel they own,... More

Dear Samba, We would like to thank you for choosing our hotel during your visit in Norcia. Unfortunately during your stay there were a few problems, about the wi-fi, in our area due to the operator of the system, which they spent a few days to solve the trouble. We are pleased to know that the solution found to solve... More

Our room was clean and spacious and comfortable, and right in the old town, which was kind of fun. We were able to park short-term next to the hotel to load and unload, and then park just outside the town at the Best Western. My only complaint about the room was that it was very dark, added to by dark... More

My 79 year old father and I spent several days in Norcia and the wonderful Bianconis took great care of us at the Grotta Azzurra (excellent meals!), the Best Western Salicone (where we slept, an easy walk to the city gate), and the spa at Palazzo Seneca (highly recommended). Anna and Carlo took great care of us and all of... More
