We spent 2 nights in the Palazzo Seneca over the black truffle festival (Nero Norcia, 28 Feb - 2 March 2014). We were efficiently transported to the hotel from the Best Western Hotel as the old town was closed off because of the festival. The Palazzo Seneca is an elegant and extremely well-maintained property close to the main square of... More

We spent three nights at Palazzo Seneca (11-13 October 2013) and could not have been happier with our choice, not only in the hotel but also in the town of Norcia itself. The drive into Norcia, which is situated in one of the beautiful, verdant valleys of the Umbrian Sibillian Mountains is quite lovely. We followed the river Sordo and... More

We stayed here - 2 Adults, a child and a toddler in October 2013. We had a wonderful stay, the rooms were fab, the little rooms were like a home away from home. On our first night it rained hard and it felt great to sit in the room with a warm fire playing chess. Breakfast was delicious, and there... More

Amazing stay. We just checked out and I had to write my review now while its fresh, although the experience is unforgettable. The hotel is lovely, the town is lovely and the restaurant was delicious. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel staff went above and beyond. Helping with lost luggage and arraigning horseback riding, truffle hunting, hotel transfers... More

My wife and I stayed at Palazzo Seneca for two nights as part of a recent holiday in Italy. We could not have been happier with our choice. It is a well appointed hotel in a great location only a few steps from the main square of Norcia. Our room was very comfortable. From start to finish, the service was... More

We planned to stay at this hotel 2 nights. Ended up staying much longer, it turned out to be hard to leave! The hotel is luxurious, in a beautiful old building, there are lots of places to sit and relax/read, even a nice little garden. The service is very warm, friendly, attentive to details. The food is great, the town... More

We recently stayed here during a 14 day self tour of Italy. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel with good restaurants. The staff were excellent and could not have been nicer. The breakfast served was one of the best we had during our trip. Everything was fresh and oved the fritata/omelet station. We ate at their local regional... More

Stayed here for two nights having read good reviews on TA and were not disappointed. We had a suite which was comfortable but not large and did not have a balcony although the smaller rooms did and this was a disappointment. However the bed was comfortable, there were shutters on all the windows so it was dark and peaceful at... More

Stayed here for two nights as part of an Umbrian walking tour. The hotel is ideally situated right off the main square in Norcia. The rooms were comfortable and quiet despite the center of town location. The entire staff was freiendly and accomodating. For example, we brought I our own wine to drink in the gardin and the restaurant waiter... More
