I´ve spent 5 nights in this hotel and was the best part of my trip. Montepulciano is lovelly and Villa Cicolina is very cozy and romantic. The staff is very helpful and nice. I think the hotel is perfect for a honey moon. In fact is perfect to spend any time there. The city is next to all other liitle... more

Villa Cicolina is a perfect hotel for a getaway with your partner. It has everything you need on the grounds, plenty of space, a great restaurant, a stunning pool with views over the countryside and the 500 year old villa is well decorated with wireless access as well. The reception staff were very helpful and the restaurant staff were efficient... more

My partner and I have both travelled very well and we both fell in love with Villa Cicolina, in fact it is one of our favourite places we have ever stayed. The decor of the room we were was lovely, a blend of old and new - chabby chic. We were given a room on the top floor with a... more

We could not have enjoyed a better experience in Tuscany. The villa's fantastic staff took excellent care of us, and we especially appreciated their flexibility in accomodating our natural pace while in the region (as opposed to the guest being expected to bend to the pace of the host, which we've also experienced from time to time in Europe). Every... more

We had an amazing 4 nights at here ( despite the heavy rain for 2 whole days!). The villa really is in such a perfect setting and so well cared for, you can really tell the owners take pride in it. Our room was huge with a beautiful antique furniture and especially loved the roll top bath with view of... more

We stumbled upon this Villa by accident as we didn't have accomodations booked. What a marvelous surprise! We were thrilled with everything from the moment we arrived. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the grounds are impeccible, the rooms romantic. The four course meal prepared by the chef was wonderful and the waiter was so friendly and helpful....we wished... more

This is a small, private and beautiful Tuscan escape. While the room we stayed in was lovely - with amazing views over the Tuscan hills - it could not compete with the most beautiful grounds of this Villa. This crystal blue pool is set amongst the lush lawns and olive trees and 'drops off' over the valley of vineyards and... more

My husband and I flew from Toronto to Rome on July 31, 2008, and immediately picked up a rental car and drove to Villa Cicolina. We left a week later, on August 8, 2008. Our time there was absolutely lovely in every way.... The grounds -- lush with olive trees, plum trees, herbs and flowers too numerous to mention --... more

We recently got married in Montepulciano and stayed at the Villa with all our family and friends for 3 days. We stayed at the Villa last September and loved it so much we decided to have our wedding there. The 3 days were absolutely perfect and the staff were excellent. Stefania and Sayed worked so hard to make everything perfect... more
