This was our very first agriturismo experience ( the 7 of us stayed here for a week ) and all I want to say is that IT COULD NOT POSSIBLY GET ANY BETTER than at " La Bruciata "!! The property, farmhouse and location is absolutely beautiful and Laura and her mother Marisa went out of their way to make... More

We had a wonderful week at la brusciata for all the reasons mentioned by previous posters. We have travelled extensively but never in Tuscany. And we had never stayed at an agriturismo anywhere, but if they are all as good as this one, we are hooked. Our stay was the highlight of our 3 weeks in that part of Italy.... More

My wife and I usually stay in city hotels when travelling, but this time we made a conscious effort to try a different experience. Along with another couple, we booked a two bedroom apartment at this beautiful farm in the Tuscan countryside. Our host, Laura, runs the place, with help from her mother, grandmother and her two little daughters. The... More

There are so many agriturismo's to choose from, that it can be daunting. Some of the reviews for La Bruciata on here were from people who had only 1 or 2 reviews, and that always makes me nervous - but I can see why you would want to make this your only review! Laura and her family are such wonderful... More

It's beautiful place. My husband and I stayed there for 3 days for our honeymoon march 2014 and the place is breathtaking and cosy as well. To start with finding the place was a difficulty especially cause we were driving there in the night. I would recommend to atleast reach there with some daylight cause you may miss the place.... Our stay at La Bruciata was a perfect experience of the Tuscany region. We made La Bruciata our base since it is centrally located and drove to so may locations and with the help of Laura we were very successful in our travels. I really want to thank the 5 women of La Bruciata for their wonderful hospitality, lovely breakfast... More

We had a great time staying at La Bruciata. We made a last minute booking during the holiday season, so we were very happy that they were able to accommodate us. And they were accommodating! It is such a lovely property, in the perfect location. We took a couple of long walks through the countryside, and laid in the hammock... More

We stayed at La Bruciata in August 2013 and had an amazing family holiday. We were there for a week but could have stayed much longer. The apartment was stunning - beautifully decorated and with lovely bathrooms. The view from the master bedroom window over Tuscany is incredible. Laura and her mother were extremely helpful, friendly and hard-working! Everywhere in... More

We stayed here in September 2013 and I so wish I was there now. What a special, beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The family work very hard and are so kind and such fantastic hosts. The food is so fresh and delicious, true home cooked Italian food! The pool is great and looks over such stunning scenery. Thank you... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our farmhouse La Bruciata is located 2 km from Montepulciano (known as "The Pearl of the 16th Century”) in the direction of Pienza. It is situated in a strategic and central position to visit the heart of Tuscany and takes its name from the farm located on the edge of the “Poliziano” territory, which faces the gentle and spectacular hills of the Val d'Orcia. The Artistic Natural and Cultural Park of the Val d'Orcia is a World Heritage Site where the dominant element of the landscape is a clay soil which lies bare forming the famous "lunar landscape" (Crete Senesi).La Bruciata offers the opportunity to enjoy many experiences, the well-manicured garden is also home to a beautiful swimming pool, fully equipped with sun umbrellas, tables and loungers for peaceful sunbathing by the pool.During the week you can participate in any number of activities that we organize and you are invited to ask us about the various guided tours that take place around us: cooking classes, wine tours, tastings of olive oil or the famous pecorino, lots of activities to afford you a memorable Tuscan experience, combined with the local and natural food of our breakfasts and our traditional homemade dinners with the freshness of our products. Our family has lived in Tuscany for generations and we look forward to offering you our hospitality, and helping you in any way we can, including answering any of your questions in English. La Bruciata welcomes you to a refined and exclusive environment that preserves and reflects the warmth of a family. ... more   less
