This hotel is a bit outside of montepulciano, but easy to get to by car. Also great location to visit the thermal baths & other towns nearby like chianciano and pienza. Very nice owners, clean/modern rooms and if you want to eat dinner there just tell them in the morning. If not there is a fantastic restaurant a block away... More

Due Cigni is the BEST! Simoneta and her sons Matteo and Niccolo are concerned only for your perfect stay! They are so nice and friendly and helpful! The Hotel is SPOTLESS! The entry lobby and the lounge area and the dining room are so clean and shining. The rooms are very nice and clean and fresh. They are nicely furnished... More

Overall, the hotel is nice. The rooms are very decent and clean. The hotel is run by a family and they are all helpful and friendly. Breakfast is a little below italian average. The hotel is not really in Montepulciano- it is 10 minutes drive from the town. I'd recommend staying within the town if possible. However, if you want... More

I don't have much to add, as everyone's reviews are more than accurate! I do agree with TQtony- there was a lack of restaurants walking distance from the hotel! This was an absolutely perfect base point for exploring. It was comfortable and quite modern inside. Our room was lovely and comfortable with a balcony. We were able to explore Montepulciano,... Every word of praise in previous reviews is absolutely true so there is not very much to add. We spent two weeks in Tuscany, staying in 5 hotels and this was certainly our best experience, all down to the mother and her two sons Matteo and Niccolo, who are all so helpful and friendly. The only downside is the lack... More

We stayed here for three nights, using it as a base to explore the tuscan countryside. The hotel had everything we needed- very helpful staff (charming mother and son team); continental breakfast buffet; ample free parking which can be rare in smaller towns in Tuscany; and was only a five minute drive to Montepulciano, and numerous wineries in the region.... We couldn't have asked for a better stay than the night we spent here. From the moment we arrived, the owners went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. They recommended a delicious restaurant right around the corner and also provided us a map and advise about getting to and parking in Montepulciano. The room was clean and... More

This is one of those places where there's nothing that goes wrong, but even though nothing is excellent and "the best", in the end it's the little things that move to the top. So, in order: - hard to find (whatever) - friendliest staff we've had in a very long time (and a very helpful son, which has been rare... More

We had a wonderful experience staying here in late September 2013. The owners Mat and his mother are very informative and warmly welcoming us. The room is clean, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast is also excellent. We definitely recommend it.

family run by Mother and her Son, awesome family. I can't say enough of the two of them, so helpful and great suggestions. GreaT VALUE , very clean, friendly, felt like home only somebody else did all the work. I would revisit.
