We stayed for three nights with our 5 year old, and enjoyed our time in Albergo San Biagio. The rooms were spotless and the indoor pool was great. At first we thought we'd miss an outdoor pool but actually having one inside was a lovely break from the sunshine! We were shown several rooms and offered our pick which we... More

Stayed 1 night here with my boyfriend as part of a trip round Tuscany. We could easily have stayed longer though! The hotel is just off the road within walking distance (up a very steep hill) to Montepulciano. The road outside is not very busy though so we didn't notice any noise. We received a very friendly welcome and were... More

We stayed for one night on our way to Umbria, though the family would have happily stayed on for longer. The hotel was around the corner from a fantastic restaurant where we sat outside and enjoyed a view of the church. Breakfast was great--several delicious Italian pastries were enjoyed, along with yogurt, fruits, and cereal. The friendly brother and sister... More

Really adored this place. Close (1km) to the town although via a very steep upward hill walk. Great views from the room and superb hospitality especially from Signora Tatiana who spoiled my husband with free drinks on his birthday. Lovely outside terrace for breakfast or anytime again with great views.

Great Hotel! People working there are super nice and make you feel welcome at any conversation. You feel like you are invited in their home. Great sightseeing tips. Rooms are spacious and the views are breathtaking. You can hear the road but its not busy at night so not really a minus point. The pool is not huge but big... More

We stayed in this charming hotel for 3 nights. It is more like a bed and breakfast. Family owned. Lovely owners and staff. They were helpful with restaurants. Very accommodating! Would definitely stay there again!

A nice family hotel. We have been warmly greeted by the staff and could choose a room facing the beautiful village and valley. The room was spacious and clean, breakfast good. The indoor pool was refreshing after climbing the hill to the Plaza Granda. The staff was warm and informative. Even got a package of candies on leaving.

Located just before going up the mountain of Montepulciano, free parking. Heated indoor pool that we didn't use. Very decent European breakfast included. Ask for a room with a view of the town, is €10 more but worth it. Very friendly owners on site. The lack of shower curtains in our room was the only let down.

Lovely spot with great views, nice size room, comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Small veranda outside the room (I was on the second floor). Good service, clean and nice hotel, but trucks on the street can be a issue as the noice insulation is not the best ever. Also heard my neighbour snoring through the wall. Steep walk up... More

Located on the outskirts of Montepulciano it is a small hotel with amenities provided by some of the bigger hotels, including an elevator and a comfortable and attractive lobby. The view of the old city is breathtaking on a clear day. Staff is minimal but extremely helpful and quite efficient. Cars cannot reach the hotel so carrying your luggage could... More
