Dionora is simply perfect! Wonderful rooms with gorgeous linen and furniture, terrific shower, delightful views to relax with, tasty breakfast with plenty of choice - lots of fresh fruit - lovely infinity swimming pool and best of all attentive, caring staff including Guilio, Tatiana and Sandra who can't do enough to ensure you have the best time staying with them.... Dionora is very close to Montepulciano and the other lovely villages in the area yet tucked away and totally secluded. Breakfast is taken in a separate building overlooking the swimming pool and the whole place is set in lovely grounds.

It's hard to summarize the beauty of this little spot in Tuscany. From the moment you drive down the cypress lined lane until you reach the beautifully landscaped grounds you are surrounded by nature at it's finest. From the vineyards to the olive groves to the breathtaking views you will never tire of relaxing and taking in the sights. After... More

We were booked for only one evening at Dionora, and arrived mid afternoon. Had we known how beautiful the grounds and pool were, we would have made a point to arrive earlier in the day. The owner greeted us, and as they weren't completely booked, we were upgraded to a room that faced the vineyards, and had a semi private... More

Dionora was one of the best places I have ever stayed. Unfortunately we only had two nights, however both were fantastic. The arrival down the long gravel drive was jaw dropping, but it only got better as we got close. The restoration of the old farmhouse and barn, and the construction of the new dining pavilion and the pool have... More

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon at the suggestion of our friend who has been coming here for years. Thank goodness for that recommendation! From beginning to end, the stay was fantastic. Our host Giulio is a cut above the rest. He made sure everything was perfect. We will certainly be coming back.

What a special place with wonderful views. We wanted sunset views and the outdoor sitting area, so we reserved a room in the second building, next to the main inn building. The rooms are more spacious in the main building, but the outdoor sitting area and sunset views were wonderful from our room. Giulio, the innkeeper, was incredibly attentive and... More

This review is very belated. My wife and I stayed at Podere Dionora in late May this year with our daughter and her boyfriend. There was a bit of e-mailing back and forth when we were making our booking and my daughter sent me an e-mail saying "Giulio sounds like a champ". And so he was. We had two of... More

If you do not get the time to read my full review let me tell you up front that this should be the #1 PLACE TO STAY in not just Montepulciano...but in ALL OF TUSCANY!!!!! I am a hard critic but me and my wife could not have asked for a better experience, a better setting, and a better friend/manager... More

The biggest mistake we made was to book only one night and we will definitely be returning. This was an oasis of calm. Hidden away just a short drive from the A1 and five minutes from Montepulciano Dionora is a gem. The property looks out over rolling Tuscan countryside to Pienza, a view you can soak in as you relax... More
