I stayed for one night at Albergo Duomo during a road trip in Italy. The hotel is ideally located just next to Piazza Grande. The building is historic and this is also reflected in the hotel’s interior. I stayed in a triple room which was very large and had a nice vaulted ceiling. I was travelling with a group of... More

A one night stay. Excellent front desk staff, great espresso for breakfast with a good variety of decent-quality breakfast food. Resident cat a delight. Great location and reliable WiFi. We asked for one of the smallest, least expensive doubles; it was a fine budget option. Gave us good suggestions for a scenic ride the following day. One complaint: their directions... More

We stayed only one night, but found the Hotel Duomo to be well above its ranking in TA and Rick Steve's, who calls it plain. We found it charming (had the room that appears on the TA listing) a good (compact) bathroom free parking near by. A very good Italian breakfast and a location very near the Duomo. Very beautiful... This B&B was as easy to find as anything else was (nothing was that easy in this medieval village). Its advantages were that it is right at the top of the city, near the main square, with everything downhill from there. The place had nearby reserved parking (very important), was clean and run by a brother and sister team that... More

This hotel is well located, though we had some trouble finding it because the city is confusing. Family run and very friendly, very nice room on the top floor with views of the mountains and valley. All amenities including eggs for breakfast on request, and wifi. The only drawback for us was the hotel did not have a working elevator,... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2015

Spent 2 nights here at the beginning of March 2015 & it wasn't long enough! The hotel is in a perfect location just 100m from the Clock Tower in the Piazza Grande, and the owners were exceedingly helpful, knowledgeable & accommodating. Rooms are fairly basic, but very clean & comfortable, with all main essentials including free WIFI & a fridge.... More

Very quiet location at the top of Montepulciano. Comfortable and clean room although the bathroom was quite compact. Breakfast good value with a reasonable variety of choices on offer. We stayed there after visiting the Anteprima di Nobile wine release / tasting - and you wouldn't want to drive after all that wine - and yes, I know you are... More

We stayed overnight here, it was a last minute decision. There were nine of us and we were graciously accommodated. We ate at a great family restaurant, excellent food and wine. Breakfast was great, room was very comfortable and I would definitely come again!

The people at the hotel were very friendly. Our room overlooked the courtyard in the back and it was a large room with two big windows and a fireplace for ambience. The breakfast was nice and they brought us a second cappuccino without us having to ask after the first day. Location is fantastic. We would definitely recommend it and... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on our first trip to Montepulciano this past weekend. We had a fantastic stay! The hotel was very quaint and well-kept. They have a nice sitting area near the breakfast room, and some computers for guests to use in a separate sitting area toward the back courtyard. The staff was exceptionally... More
