We selected this agriturissimo for it's location to Florence and it's accessibility to A1. Wow, what a surprise! We had the most wonderful time during our 5-day stay in il Sasso. The family was so accomodating and was most helpful in recommending delicious places for dinner and touring. The most memoriable occassions will be the dinners we had in Anghiari,... More

The location is typical of Tuscany; peaceful, well cared for and close to all amenities. We enjoyed walks in the valley, through the olive groves and vine yards, outdoor dinners and use of the pool. Our children, aged 3 and almost 2 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodation is rustic and meets all family needs. This is our 3rd visit and... More

My experience at Il Sasso was truly incredible. I stayed in Montepulciano for a total of 3 months for a study abroad program, and I know that it would not have been the same without the kind and nurturing spirits of the Il Sasso staff. Everyone there is truly concerned for your well-being and happiness, and they go out of... More

We were 2 families, each with 2 adults and 3 children and we stayed there for 5 nights at the end of September. We contacted Nicolleta via Email, which was very convenient. She answered our questions accurately and quickly (later we found out that she doesn't really know any English and makes a good use of Google translate:-)). The Agriturismo... More

Il Sasso is exactly what have in mind when you think of Tuscany. Rustic charm, warm hospitality and the sounds and smells of nature at its best. We spent two nights at Il Sasso and were very sad to leave. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the apartment was very clean. It was a perfect... More

King sized beds, full kitchen. Beautiful setting on a working vineyard and olive grove. Outdoor barbecue pit. Fully furnished. Simple, but comfortable. Very good value. Heat only available a few hours at night and an hour in the morning. Shared laundry service down by the pool. Owner was very helpful and got a technician out to get the Wifi working... More
