Was in Montepulciano for two days as part of a www.girosole.com Italian walking tour through the Val D'Orcia and stayed in this well located, clean and very cute B&B. Giuseppe and his partner Louisa could not have been nicer and more helpful - great cafe Poliziano across the way where breakfast was organized. Really had a great time - highly... More

We stayed four nites and Giuseppe and Luisa made us feel like family. Our "room" was more of an apartment, with a separate kitchen/sitting room. A nice touch is breakfast across the street at a classy, perhaps ornate café, with views of the hillside. Parking is tight in this walled hill-top town. But they found us free parking a short... We stayed 4 nights in May 2014. The WIFI was absolutely superb. It was reliable and blazingly fast 24/7. A rare treat! In May, which is when we visited, there is no heat in the building which can be bothersome. It seemed to stay around 68-70F. When I inquired about it Giuseppe explained something about a government regulation about heat... More

First let me say that if you are lucky enough to stay in the town Montepulciano - and I highly recommend it -- you will probably be happy with most options available. That said, for the value, you can not make a better choice than Vicolo dell'Oste. We were 3 girls traveling from California. Luisa and Guiseppe are above and... More

everything is wonderful about this location. Great value, very clean and on a very quiet street. Luisa and Giuseppe were the best hosts. Giuseppe made recommendations for travel and restaurants, he was even kind enough to make reservations for us, helpful is your Italian is poor like ours. The rate is super reasonable, and the town enchanting especially after dark.... More

Montepulciano is a lovely town, but very, very steepy. Vicollo dell'Oste is perfectly located at the center, meaning you can probably give a rest to your legs. The rooms (apartments) are huge and have all the amenities for a long stay. The hosts are nice and very helpful.

Giuseppe and Luisa were the absolute BEST. As a host and hostess, they really set the bar high. We had a general idea of what we wanted to do and see around Montepulciano, but Luisa advised us in a slightly different direction (since we have small children) and we are very happy we listened. She has a great understanding of... More

We stayed at several B&B's throughout Tuscany in April 2014, and this one was by far the best for the money. Super helpful and friendly staff who gave several restaurant recommendations and discounts. Fully renovated in 2009 with modern finishes, but still maintains the Tuscan charm. Centrally located on one of the main retail streets. Easy access for loading and... More

We rented 3 rooms for 10 people for our wedding in October. Luisa and Guiseppe were lovely hosts and very gracious when dealing with our family. I wish I would have had a chance to say goodby to them when we left. We will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a well appointed B and B.

My friend and I decided on a last minute stay in Montepulciano and we couldn't have a picked a better B&B. Giuseppe was very helpful in recommending restaurants and helping with our luggage. We were astounded by the size and cleanliness of the apartment/room! Great Fridge, 2 burner stove and dishes/silverware. There were no wine glasses and Giuseppe returned within... More
