We stayed at Il Casalone in September 2012. It is an absolutely beautiful place to stay in Tuscany. Paolo, Gino and Mirella are most welcoming and thoughtfully provide lots of lovely condiments and utensils in the apartments, including great coffee and espresso pot. The apartment rooms are exquisitely decorated, you walk in and go 'Wow, I'm really in Tuscany!' There... More

This place is so tranquil, surrounded and nourished by all that Epicurus would have taught and sought to attain the good life, that it makes one wonder why the expression goes "living like a king in France". I can't see how this superbly located place can be topped by another. May be also especially so because of the great service... More

We remain speechless for the words of Miss Marloes!!! We are very happy she enjoyed this place, in particular that she has appreciated what's more important for us: the semplicity, the quiet, the cleanliness. Thanks again. Paolo. More

We weren't 100% sure what we had booked but based it on the feedback....and we were certainly not disappointed. If you are looking to sample a part of Tuscan life then this is the place. Exremely quiet yet only 5 minutes from Montepulciano. Even though it was late October weather was excellent and we could relax outside where on 2... More

In all of our planning, we did not imagine our stay would surpass expectations. Il Casalone was truly a place to live the Tuscan dream, from the wonderful grounds, to the hospitality of having olive oil and honey produced on the property, Paolo and his family's attention to detail made the stay thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing. Il Casalone is a... More

We stayed 2 nights at Agriturismo Il Casalone and can't say enough good things about it. The hospitality of Paolo and his family was fantastic, and our room was wonderful. It was very well appointed and we did not lack anything. It was very well organized, and you could tell that they had tried to think of everything. The provided... More

We spent 3 nights at Il Casalone last month and would return in a heartbeat. The apartment was spotless, well equipped and quite spacious. We received a warm welcome from Paolo and found him and his family very helpful. The property is in an excellent location, only 5 minutes from Montepulciano, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed... More

I stayed at Il Casalone in April 2010. However, I have a vivid recollection of an outstanding experienced with 7 others in my travelling group. The rooms are spacious with attention to detail. The kitchen is fully functioning and contains every appliance to create a gastronomical feast with the finest produce from the Tuscan region. Soak up the panoramic views... More

We stayed at this property for a week. The owners are great, friendly and provided us with really good hints of restaurants, places to visit, etc. The property is in an ideal location. Property is nice and very clean. Will definitely recommend it. Hope to visit Tuscany and to stay at this property again in the very near future.

I picked this place 2 months ago at random and then we had most relax 3 days here this year at the end of September 2011. You would have very warm welcome from Paolo and his family first.
