We enjoyed our stay with this kind and helpful family. We loved sitting in the garden with a glass of something and also enjoyed the breakfasts. After reading the reviews, yes, it is a bit of an uphill hike to town but the hotel does not disguise the fact as inferred in many reviews. There is a shuttle bus from... More

We stumbled across the website for this boutique, seven room hotel in Montepulciano, Italy a few years ago. Since then, we have visited several times, referred countless people to visit and already planned three visits June/July 2015. The rooms are hospital clean, the location convenient and the breakfast out of this world. But the best part by far is the... More

We spent three nights here in September, using Montepulciano as our base for a driving tour through Tuscany. Received a friendly welcome from Amerigo the owner, who offered us a glass of prosecco in the hotel’s lovely little garden. He also gave us lots of dining and sightseeing recommendations, which we appreciated. I don’t want to be too critical of... More

What a welcome we received after our long trek from Pienza! We were shown to our beautiful suite and brought a tray of steaming coffees! The rooms were just perfect and the sumptuous 'salon' linking our two rooms provided a touch of luxury, as well as convenience.Niccolò and his wife were charming and the breakfast buffet was delightful, especially the... We selected this hotel as it seemed easy to get to by car outside the walls, but within walking distance of the old town, and this proved to be the case. While it's a slight uphill walk to the park just outside the city walls, it's a lot less than what's required to properly explore Montepulciano on foot. The road... More

My adult daughter and I stayed at Albergo Il Rondo for 4 nights. It is about a 20 minute walk to the main piazza in the centro storico. We enjoyed walking to a different restaurant each night. Our room was clean and spacious. There is a garden area where you can sit outside and relax. Upon arrival we were offered... More

Our only regret is that we only had 2 days to stay here. The couple that owns Albergo Il Rondo were extremely gracious and helpful. It's a charming little villa with lovely gardens to relax in. The breakfast is typical Italian and atmosphere very friendly. Our room and bathroom was clean, we had a double room and it was nicer... More

We loved our stay here , beautiful family and the gardens are spectacular. Only a 10 minute walk into the heart of the town , this walk is uphill so you must be semi fit. Great Breakfast included also. Only negative would be the beds were hard and probably could do with a update.

We stayed here for 4 nights and wish it had been longer, the location was fantastic away from the town but in easy walking distance, it was quiet, and very comfortable. Our accommodation was a beautifully decorated bedroom and bathroom with a comfortable shared sitting room with just one other room, with tea making facilities. The breakfasts were served in... More
